Eternity
Today I start with a heavy heart Tears streaking down my face For this day marks a new beginning A different life for me Today is the very first day .... that begins my new Eternity I have worked so hard to become someone that I Love Someone I enjoy to spend my time with And someone to be proud To introduce to the Heavens up above At times to be that person That we can respect within ourselves We have to walk away from situations That are someone else's Hell's
At times we keep around us All the stench of Gloom and Death And it touches those who walk beside us Even though that is not our attempt Some People who enter within our lives For reasons never completely known Bring with them a certain Aura That covers us like Deaths cloak It seethes and wraps around our lives Turning Happiness to simple stone Taking root in the very heart of us Draining all the Beauty from our Souls
These People that I talk of Live for one and only thing To control the lives around them And keep chaos as the King They are the ones who sling the mud And wonder how we dare Throw it back at them with simply not a care They are so very selfish They have no idea others even live For they live in their own little fantasy Where only they exist
I have to walk away today From someone I do adore For they carry right by their side This Aura that I speak of A mistake they made long ago Before we ever met It follows them like the darkest shadow That feeds upon the life from within their veins This Aura that I speak of Belongs to a person that perplexes me From the center of my depth One I try to feel compassionate Of their awful attitudes of life But this one I believe is insane you see For they thrive on others strife Bringing only Pain and Misery
They live the life of illusion No one dares to say the truth They love the lies that are told to them That spares them from any Spiritual truths They force others to do their bidding With Guilt and simple Threats They use the Decency and Kindness of others As a tool to get their needs met
They are easier to walk away from Trust me when I say They never understand how corrupt their actions are No use in debating simple reasons why No need to keep them near my friends They never change their ways The only thing that changes Is we learn to ask them not to stay. @Diana Dedicated to my Friend...you know who you are....Good luck and God bless you!
