Make A Difference
They are in a world of their own,
And often they are left alone.
No they cannot run or walk,
But they are able to think and talk.
I'm in a wheelchair as you see,
So handicapped you label me.
If you take time to realize,
It's not my brain that's paralyzed.
I'll make it though and do alright,
Willing, Iam, to put up a fight.
If you'll realy think it thought,
I think you'll find I'm just like YOU.
If you pretend my chair is gone,
A conversation we'll carry on.
Say the things you normally say,
And friends, maybe, we will stay.
Someday my dreams may come true,
That everyone will think it through.
Take it straight to your heart,
That you do your little part.
