The Rape
(Lucky, Sarah and Deanie walk into Kelly's)
Lucky: "The dance was a bust, wasn't it?"
Deanie: "I know, we should have come here, we'd have had a lot more fun."
Sarah: "It wasn't that bad. It could have been worse"
Lucky: "Oh, come on. There were more parents and teachers there. And the band." (They sit at the counter)
Deanie: "I know. Kenny Simpson got the dance committee to hire his kid brother." (The girls laugh)
Lucky: "Oh, figures. I'd still like to know what happened to Elizabeth. It's kind of weird that she and her date didn't show up at all." (He gets out a pie and some plates)
Sarah: "I didn't even know she had a date. They probably just decided to go somewhere else. I mean, now that you think about it, a lot of people didn't show up, you know. Besides people like Nikolas who think they are too cool to do 'kid stuff' like go to dances, you know. (Lucky sighs and rolls his eyes) Oh, I'll just have a piece of pie, no ice cream. I'm going to go play some music." (She leaves)
Lucky: "Deanie? Is it me, or did she mention the Cassadine creep about a hundred times tonight."
Deanie: "You're not imagining it."
Lucky: "She's obsessed with the guy."
Deanie: "Yeah, I had high hopes for her, but you're right, she is still on the hook." (A bunch of guys come in Kelly's and Lucky watches them)
Sarah: (Coming back and seeing where Lucky's attention is) "What is it?"
Lucky: "That's Chad Rendell, the guy Elizabeth was supposed to go to the dance with."
Sarah: "I didn't even know she knew him."
Lucky: (He gets up and walks over to their table) "Excuse me. Chad?"
Chad: "Yeah, that's me."
Lucky: "I'm Lucky Spencer."
Chad: "Right, right, right. No, I've seen you around. What can I do for you?"
Lucky: "Some of us were wondering about Elizabeth. She said she was going to the dance, but she was a no show."
Chad: "Well, is that supposed to mean something to me?"
Lucky: "Elizabeth Webber. You know, Sarah's sister? You called about going to the Valentines Dance with her?"
Chad: "You're confusing me with somebody else, my girlfriend's name is Cheryl. And I don't do dances, or I would have taken her."
Lucky: "Oh, all right. Sorry. Thanks." (He walks back to the counter)
Sarah: "Well, what did he say?"
Lucky: "He's never heard of her. Why would Elizabeth make up this big story about some guy she doesn't even know? I mean, doesn't that seem a little weird?"
Sarah: "No. Liz is making up stories all the time. I mean, if she wants something to be true she just pretends it is. Like, ok, if she had been dating Nikolas instead of me, she would have the whole world believing that she broke up with him, instead of the other way around, you know?"
Lucky: "Maybe, but I'm still curious about where she is."
Sarah: "Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure that Lizzie just had a huge crush on Chad and had some master plan to flirt with him at the dance, found out he wasn't going and decided to hang out with friends."
Lucky: "Elizabeth doesn't have any friends, Sarah."
Sarah: "Oh, Lucky, come on, she does so. She probably rented a movie and stayed home."
Lucky: "Well, I'd still like to find out." (He gets up and starts putting on his coat)
Sarah: "Now? I mean, why don't you just call?"
Lucky: "Because she might not answer, and I'd just like to find out for myself."
Sarah: "Ok. Well, you want me to go with you?"
Lucky: "No, look, you're staying over at Deanie's tonight and that's the opposite direction."
Sarah: "Wasn't this supposed to be sort of a date?"
Lucky: "Oh, don't tell me you're going to miss me."
Sarah: "Why do you say that?"
Lucky: "Look, no offense Sarah, but you've been going on about Nikolas all night, and it's not my idea of fun. Just keep eating your pie." (He turns and walks off, leaving Sarah stunned, looking after him)
(Liz is walking through the park with a bag of popcorn and she sits down on a bench. She looks at her watch and then settles in to pass time. Suddenly she's grabbed from behind and she begins to struggle. Her attacker tries to pull her over the bench, but she fights him. He finally succeeds in dragging her over the bench and into the bushes)
