The practice of invoking the God/Goddess for magicks, sacred space, meditation, or full ritual are started with the Fivefold kiss. In the Fivefold kiss, the Priest or Priestess kisses points of the human body in the form of an upright star. It is a common practice, especially during initiations and on the high holy days.
After the circle has been cast, and the elementals summoned, before the High Priest draws down the moon on the High Priestess, he gives her the fivefold kiss.
She stands with her back to the altar, her wrists crossed in front of her chest. He kneels before her and begins kissing her on the right foot and the left foot saying,
"Blessed be your feet, that have brought you in these ways."
He then kisses her on the right knee and the left knee, saying,
"Blessed be your knees, that shall kneel at the sacred altar."
When he reaches the womb area, she spreads her arms outwards, palms turned upward. He then kisses her on the womb area, saying,
"Blessed be your womb, without which we would not be."
He then kisses her on the right breast and the left breast, saying,
"Blessed be your breasts, formed in beauty."
He then kisses her on the lips, saying,
"Blessed be your lips, that shall speak the Sacred Names."
For the kiss on the lips, they embrace, length to length, with their feet touching each other.
This can also be performed Woman to Man. If that is the case, then the words are changed slightly. The kiss points are the same, except the womb area is replaced by above the phallus area, and the words are as follows:
"Blessed Be your feet, that have brought you in these ways."
"Blessd Be your knees, that shall kneel at the sacred altar."
"Blessed Be your phallus, without which we would not be."
"Blessed Be your breast, formed in strength."
"Blessed Be your lips, that shall speak the Sacred Names."
Usually after this, Drawing Down the Moon/Sun is done.
