At FLINT RIVER RANCH, We feel your cat is worth it!

The LC Feline Cat and Kitten formula is nutritionally complete and balanced for all stages of life - plus Taurine Levels according to AAFCO Nutrient Profiles for Feline Foods. There is ample scientific evidence that proper nutrition and correct eating habits can enhance health, performance and longevity. We are starting to understand that the over-processing and chemical additives which add color and texture can destroy much of the nutritional value of both people food and pet food. Today, the choice of a nutritionally superior pet food for pets should be based on an informed understanding and appreciation of ingredient quality and product information.

The Chicken and Lamb Meal formula is manufactured under carefully controlled conditions and temperatures - resulting in better nutrition, palatability and digestibility for your pet. The secret to good nutrition is not how many nutrients are present in a cat's food, but rather, how available they are and how efficiently they can be utilized when digested. High digestibility means your pet requires less food and produces smaller, firmer stools and less clean-up. Our Chicken Meal and other meat sources do not contain poultry by-products or other by-products.

Cats are finicky eaters. Our test show that besides flavor and aroma, texture and shape are very important in determining cat food palatability. Cats first smell their food; if it passes this test, shape then becomes important because it determines the way it feels and breaks apart in the cat's mouth.

Your Feline friend deserves the best nutrition!

PROTEIN: The amino acids provided by the Chicken and Lamb Meal are the basic building blocks of muscle, skin, coat, bone, blood and the immune system. The most important ingredient in a cat's diet is protein. We guarantee protein analysis of not less than 32%.

ESSENTIAL TAURINE: The highest quality Chicken Meal provides Taurine, an essential amino acid for cats, at much higher levels than the poultry by-products used in most cat foods. It is important for eyes, heart, nervous and reproductive systems.

FATS: The human grade Fat Source has no Ethoxyquin. It is naturally preserved with Vitamin E. Fats provide energy and include essentials for cell structure, hormones, enzymes and fat soluble vitamins. Flint River Ranch guarantees not less than 20% crude fat.

BEET PULP: By far the best source of fiber. It does a better job of moving the nutrients through the digestive systems and acts as a calming base for forming the stool in the colon. Vitamins, minerals and nutrients are first digested in the stomach - then absorbed into the blood through the intestinal walls. If those walls are covered with slime/mucus - absorption of these life-sustaining nutrients is reduced. Beet pulp gently massages intestinal walls, removing the mucus and aids in the bowel movement.

FELINE UROLOGICAL SYNDROME: There is little doubt that F.U.S. is directly related to the cat's life style and diet. Low Ash and Magnesium are important in the prevention of F.U.S. Flint River Ranch Feline Formula has 4.5.% ash content and Magnesium of 0.08%. This promotes low urinary PH and helps prevent F.U.S.

Your Feline friend will love the great taste of Flint River Ranch Feline Formula. We guarantee it! Right away you'll notice the difference that premium quality nutrition can make! You will be able to see the difference in your cat's healthy skin, coat and energy level. Healthy nutrition can also mean less medical bills. We believe your cat deserves the best possible food and health.

A cat requires about one fluid ounce of water per pound of body weight per day. Many people are distressed when their cat will drink from a scummy puddle, the gutter, a pond, even the toilet, but won't touch its nice, clean water dish. There is a simple cause for this behavior: the water dish tastes bad to the cat, or used to taste bad (cats have good memories). If we think in cat terms for a moment, algae, mud, fish- bits, even feces are all natural, normal things it rather expects in the wild. But chlorine! Feh! Remember that your cat has a sensitive sense of smell and taste (plus another sense midway between the two) and can readily detect odors and flavors lost on us, while even we can taste the chlorine in our tap water. This foul taste is what makes the sale of bottled water profitable. You may find that your cat will also appreciate bottled water. Barring that, you may try boiling your pet's water first, as boiling will drive out the highly-volatile chlorine. Even letting it stand out a few hours before serving will allow the majority of the chlorine to evaporate. Often, adding an ounce of club soda (carbonated water) to 16 ounces of ordinary water will do the trick. Cats love car- bonation.
