Christmastime hustles
Everyone bustles

Carols sounding
Hearts pounding

Holiday decorations
Festive transformations

Wide eyed fascinations
Yule tide celebrations

Snowy explorations
Frosty sensations

Childhood bliss
Parents reminisce

Rheindeer elude
Curiosity renewed

Turkey roasting
Eggnog toasting

Fireside snapping
Grandpa napping

Seasons cheer
Gala New Year!

Bethlehems Star

Tiny star, guiding light
Shining brightly in the night
Three Wisemen to safely guide
As they travel along, side by side

Bethlehem lies far below
This special star is all aglow
Angels about, keeping guard
Floating throughout heavens yard

Humble manger filled with hay
Rendering shelter this blessed day
Gentle beasts, both large and small
Holding watch within their stall

A blessed event is about to unfold
Husband and wife are about to behold
The wonderous birth of their baby boy
To fill their hearts with pride and joy

The Son of God to them is born
To angels sweetest resounding horn
Announcing to all, near and faraway
That the Christchild was born today

Star of Bethlehem, continue to shine above
Lighten this troubled world with thy love
Guide us safely home, into his embrace
Forever to remain within his grace.

Christmas Bear

Two loving arms to hold me tight
A pair of eyes filled with simple delight
It matters not whether girl or boy
My sole purpose in life is to bring you joy

For now this is my temporary home
Attached to me you will find this poem
Wrapped in finest paper, shiny and bright
Tied with ribbons of sparkling white

My arms will always be open to you
Whenever you need a hug or two
To you I will forever remain true blue
I can't wait to make my big debut

Santa's sleigh is all set to go
To make his annual trip through the snow
Rudolph is busy polishing his nose
So on Christmas Eve it brightly glows

Presents underneath the Christmas Tree
Cookie crumbs are left upon the plate
The glass of milk stands empty now
I see you standing there, wondering how

Impatiently I await to be unwrapped
Far too long, in this box, I have been kept
Butterflies fluttering about within my tummy
Or could it be that it's a bowl full of jelly?

Woooohooooo, my turn has finally come
I can't wait to get out and up off my bum
Anticipation heightens, the moment draws near
Hey wait, why do you have me by my ear?
