The band was practicing in Jon's garage before the American cd release party.
"It's all a mistake/ How long will it take?/ When the dreams are all gone/ How long till you wake?" Ryan sang, then trailed off...
"Uh, Ry? Next verse please?" Asked Stever, while tapping Ryan on the shoulder.
"Sorry- did you guys just see that girl that just ran by?"
"Yea," said Jon while fixing his amp "that's Branalie. She's staying with us as a foreign exchange student for a while."
"She speaks English, right?" said Ryan.
"Duh moron. She's from Tennessee. Why? Got the hots for her?"
"No." argued Ryan, turning away.
"Whatever, lover-boy!" Dan said while starting up "Skidrow"
They finished up practice and was putting away their stuff ss Branaliewalked in.
"Hey y'all! You must be Jon's band. He's told me so much about y'all. Let me guess who's who! Let's see...Dan's the drummer, Stever has glasses, and this spikey-haird cutie must be Ryan. Am I right?"
"Yea Branalie. I'm Dan and this is Ryan Sterver. Just call him Stever. It gets too confusing otherwise," said Dan while shaking her hand.
"Pleased to meet you." Stever said as her gave Branalie a hug.
"Stever, get your grubby hands off my girl!" joked Jon.
"Jon, I am NOT your girl. Stever's just being friendly." Branalie walked over to Ryan, "Well Spikes, ain't you gonna talk?"
"Hey Branalie. I hope you'll get to see us play!"
"Well Jon's invited me to the Much thingy next week and maybe I'll get to see y'all in concert!"
"Hey guys," yelled Dan, walking out of Jon's garage, "My mom's here. I'll see you tonight Branalie. Come on Stever, we'll give you a ride home."
"Oh gosh! I have to get ready for tonight. Please excuse me."
"No prob Bran Muffin!" yelled Jon as Branalie ran inside.
"Jon, I told you not to call me that! I get enough crap from my friends back home." scolded Branalie.
"Sorry."
"Is Branalie coming tonight?" asked Ryan
"Yea. She is, after all, part of my family for the rest of the year."
"Cool."
"Just don't get involved with her. Branalie isn't the girl she seems..."
