I have gathered in my heart
A bouquet of love for you
I nourish it each day ~
It always gets me through
I call upon my heart at times
When I am sad or blue
And it never lets me down because
My heart belongs to you
I want to let you know
That whether near or far
My heart for you will flourish like the
Gleaming of a star
The star that shines upon you
And offers you such light
That you'll never be afraid
In the darkness of the night
And so my star will guide you
To the very brightest part
Of the love that I can give you
When you step into my light
And always I will take you
To the places soft and warm
The place that echoes music
And makes our love belong
For the heart that is so special
So wonderful and true
Is the heart that offers love
And that's all I have for you
So be with me in spirit
Take me to your home

I Miss You
You made me smile when I was sad.
You have turned a closed heart into a burning flame.
You make me think for myself.
You are willing to open up to me and it touches my heart.
Take me in your arms and hold me close.
When I need to yell, let me; then calm me down.
When I need to cry, make me, then hold me.
When I need reassurance, reassure me.
Never let me stop loving you and
I won't let you stop loving me,
For we do belong together.
Hold that kindred spirit in your heart

TWO SEEDS
Someone, somewhere is peacefully watching
two seeds haphazardly tossed by a strong wind,
Lightingly landing side by side
on soft fertile soil,
growing separate together
in a vast, expanding landscape under the same sun,
under the same moon
clinging to their own roots....
deep, hard, determined,
still side by side,
intertwining, growing closer,
sharing the same air,
the same wind,
the same rain....
Learning to understand,
to comfort, to give, to receive, to love.
