I'm learning -
that having a child fall asleep in my arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.
I'm learning -
that being kind is more important than being right.
I'm learning -
that no matter how serious life requires me to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.
I'm learning -
we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.
I'm learning -
that money doesn't buy class.
I'm learning -
that when I plan to get even with someone, I am only letting that person continue to hurt me.
I'm learning -
that love, not just time, heals all wounds.
I'm learning -
that we should keep our words both soft and tender, because tomorrow we may have to eat them.
I'm learning -
that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the growth occurs while we are climbing it.
I'm learning -
that it is best to give advice in only two circumstances; when it is requested and when it is a life-threatening situation.
