Description: Goku is the hands down star of Dragon Ball Z. There is no dispute about it. Goku, for most of the show is the most powerful character. When he is not he eventually becomes the strongest either by becoming stronger or defeating his stronger opponnent. He was sent to earth as a child to destroy all life but due to a bad fall he became good. Goku is the first character to go Super Saiyan. His Cool Attack is Spirit Bomb or Genki Dama, I chose this because even though it barely ever works it is one helluva move.

Name: Krillin
Cool Attack: Destructo Disc
Family: unknown
Description: Krillin is Gokus best friend. Although he is short, bald, and has a funny voice. Don’t underestimate him. If it wasn’t for Vegeta warning him Nappa would have been destroyed trying to catch Krillin’s Destructo Disc!! Krillin is best of friends with Goku and also develops quite a friendship with Gohan on Namek. He was also good friends with Dende a young Namek they rescued. Destructo Disc is his cool attack because well have you seen it? It’s got to be the coolest attack, although not the strongest or easiest to pull off.

Name: Gohan
Cool Attack: Masenko Ha
Family: Goku, Chi-Chi, Ox King, Bardock, Radditz
Description: Gohan, Goku’s Son, has amazing powers although stronger than Krillin he has yet to learn how to use his powers at full strength. Gohan can be commended for bringing out the good in Piccolo during his training with him. Gohan has grown a lot as a person since the begginning of the series. He went from being a coward boy to being a confident young man. Although there still are times when Gohan is overpowered by his feelings. When he was supposed to attack Nappa he chickened out and made the fight a lot harder for everyone.

Name: Vegeta
Cool Attack: Final Flash
Family: King Vegeta
Description: Vegeta comes into the picture When he receives a transmission from Radditz about the Dragon Balls on earth. He explains to his friend Nappa that they will go to earth and find the dragon balls to wish for immortality. After being defeated by Goku he leaves in his Spaceball, he is badly hurt. Frieza’s gang finds him and he is in a healing tank for a while, he realizes that he doesn’t want to be a part of Frieza’s organization anymore. He flees Frieza’s ship and travels to Namek to find the original Dragon Balls. There he fights alongside Krillin and Gohan but only because he shares a common enemy: Frieza. Eventually though he joins the Z fighters as a good guy.

Name: Piccolo
Cool Attack: Special Beam Cannon
Family: Kami
Description: When Kame came to earth to be the Kami-Sama of planet earth he wished to rid himself of evil. So he split himself into two people the good half was Kami and the bad half was Piccolo. At the begginning of Dragonball Z Piccolo was an enemy and arch-rival of Goku, but due to fighting with him against Raditz, and training his son Gohan, good has been brought out in him, although he is still a little bit evil inside. Piccolo, when he arrives on Namek fuses with Nail this makes him a lot stronger and helps in the fight against Frieza.

Name: King Kai
Cool Attack: Kai-O-Ken Attack

Description: King Kai is the highest known God in the show. Goku seeks him for training after he dies in the fight with Radditz. He lives on a tiny planet with very high gravity at the end of Snake Way. Only the best fighters are able to make it to King Kai’s place because of the many obstacles including the Home For Infinite Losers, and the vicious Princess Snake. King Kai himself doesn’t look like much of a fighter, although before Goku’s training he was second only to Nappa and Vegeta. He is small blue and stout. He always wears a pair of sunglasses and he is constantly cracking corny jokes or eating. He has two pets: a monkey named Bubbles and a cricket named Gregory. Yamcha, Tien, Chaou Zu, and Piccolo also seek training from King Kai when they die. (sorry I couldn’t get a better pic)

Name: Tien Shinhan
Cool Attack: Solar Flare

Description: Tien, is a three eyed mutant human. He has the power to regenerate limbs and his cool attack Solar Flare will blind opponents for a period of time. Tien and Chaou Zu are best of friends although they look like a typical odd couple, they are telepathically linked. Tien is a member of Earth special forces and along with Krillin,Yamcha, Tien, Chaou Zu, and Yajirobe, he is the first line of defence against the saiyans until Goku arrives.

Name: Chaou Zu
Cool Attack: Suicide Attack
Family: unknown
Description: Chaou Zu is a small child like being who resembles a mime. Although the weakest of Earth Special Forces, he has telepathic powers. He floats in the air and can speak with Tien through his mind because they are telepathically linked. His cool attack is only seen once on the show when he latches on to Nappa’s back and explodes sending himself into the next dimension. Unfortunately Nappa is unharmed.

Name: Yamcha
Cool Attack: Spirit Bomb
Family: unknown
Description: The love of Bulma’s life. Too bad Yamcha doesn’t feel the same way. Yamcha is deathly afraid of women. Yamcha did once have a date with Bulma but he stood her up because he didn’t have enough cash to take her out. Yamcha is a pretty formidable fighter who even manages to pull off a spirit bomb in the pendulum room. He gracefully offers to fight the Saibaimen in place of Krillin because Krillin has already been wished back with the dragon balls and can’t be wished back again. He is part of Earth Special Forces, but dies during the battle with Nappa.

Name: Bulma
Cool Attack: none
Family: Dr. Briefs
Description: Bulma is the daughter of Dr. Briefs, founder of Capsule Corp. She is not a fighter, nor involved with fighting in any way. She uses her brains more than brawn. She used her knowledge of circuitry to make Radditz’s scouter show earth numbers. Although most of the time she is serious, when it comes to Yamcha she goes all mushy. Even though Yamcha stood her up on their only date she still wants him. Oh well.

Name: Yajirobe
Cool Attack: Sword Chop

Description: Yajirobe is probably the only member of Earth Special Forces who would rather be eating than fighting. But he does sometimes come through to do something heroic. Like the time he cut off Vegeta’s tail when he was a Were-Monkey. Or when he delivered a bag of Senzu Beans to Goku in the hospital. Yajirobe although a bit of a coward is not vain. He doesn’t care how he looks or if he eats too much. Some even say he is although a minor character, an essential one to the story.

Name: Garlic Jr.
Cool Attack: Death Zone Portal
Family: Garlic Sr.
Description: In the original DBZ Garlic Jr. was vanquished into his own death zone portal by Gohan. Now he's back and he wants revenge. First he releases the black water mist which turns everyone evil. This turns most of gohan's friends except Piccolo, Marron, and Krillin, into evil zombie type people. Gohan eventually destroys the Makio Star the source of Garlic's Power and he falls into the dead zone.

Name: Frieza
Cool Attack: Frieza beam
Family: King Cold, Koola
Description: Frieza is the worst most pure evil guy you could think of. He has a huge army of evil guys. The Saiyans were a part of this until Frieza was scared a super saiyan might turn up and destroy him. So Frieza betrayed the Saiyans and destroyed everyone on their planet including King Vegeta, Vegeta’s father. Goku’s father, Bardock, was also killed by frieza but earlier. Bardock led a rebellion against Frieza. Although he lost, his last words told Frieza he would die to a Saiyan. Now Frieza is searching for the Dragon Balls on Namek. Goku must stop him in time.

Name: Nappa
Cool Attack: ??? Blows stuff up

Description: Nappa was Vegeta’s partner. They were both led to earth by Radditz’s signal about the dragon balls. He wants to wish for eternal life as well. Although powerful, Nappa is stupid and without Vegeta he would surely be dead a couple times. Which is ironic because Vegeta is the one who kills him.

Name: The Ginyu Force- Guldo, Jeice, Recoome, Burter, and Captain Ginyu
Cool Attack: time freeze, body switch
Family: unknown
Description: The Ginyu Force, the most elite group of fighters in Frieza’s army. 5 fighters of different height, and different colors. Guldo is green, the shortest and weakest, he makes up for being weak by being able to freeze time. Jeice probably the second strongest is of average height. Recoome a human giant is more brawn than brains. Burter is a weird looking blue alien. And Captain Ginyu, the strongest of them all is purple with two protruding horns. They all are not only great fighters but excellent showmen, they’re a little eccentric. I was rolling in laughter the way they played Rock, Paper Scissors to see who gets to fight Goku. Ginyu, the longest survivor, switches bodies with Goku then back to himself then attempts to switch with Vegeta but gets caught in a frog. His next target is helpless Bulma.

Name: Radditz
Cool Attack: Watch The Birdie
Family: Goku, Bardock, Gohan
Description: Goku’s older brother is one of the 4 remaining Saiyans. And is also the first to die. He is the one who informs Goku about being a Saiyan. He also passes on the message of the dragon balls to Vegeta and Nappa. He’s better than the news!!
