HAZARDOUS NOISE LEVEL TESTING
Yes, we conduct noise level tests!
Hazardous noise is produced by equipment, machinery, and even people. This culmanation of noise can very easily reach hazardous levels and cause pain, fatigue, stress, and of course, serious hearing damage.
Hearing loss may occur when noise levels reach or exceed 85 dBA. Safety regulations state that hearing protection must be worn in workplaces where 85dBA is exceeded. So what is the correct hearing protection for your company, and what NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) is required to reach a safe level?
REMEMBER: HEARING LOSS IS PERMANENT!
Unsure of the noise levels at your workplace? Why not give Safety 1st a call? We can conduct noise level tests at each work station throughout your facility, and at different times of the day or night. Following the physical tests, we will generate a report which highlights all areas throughout your plant, and indicate where hearing protection is needed, and what noise reduction is required to be safe and to be compliant with the regulations. In addition, we can also aid in designing your company's hearing conservation program.
For more information, including rates based on the size of your facility, please call us toll free at 1-877-251-1172. We can conduct noise level tests at most locations throughout Ontario.
