Sanjay Sekharan is an IT Professional with experience in designing and implementing e-business solutions. EXPERIENCE / ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Performed designing, customization and integration services for a Theater ticket system.
During this independent study project, Sanjay led a team of four developers to create an online Theater ticket system. For this project, he analyzed user requirements, designed the GUI, and implemented the application using the SUN JDK 1.1.8 on a Windows platform. The team overcame many technical challenges, including database connectivity issues and client changes in design to complete the system on time. This system provided a more friendly environment for the client's employees to take orders online, resulting in improved productivity and reduced training time.

Managed, designed and developed an erosion detection program for a conservation organization.
As Project leader, Sanjay was responsible for identifying the needs of the customer, and designing and implementing a full GUI-enabled system, used to prevent housing damage along the shoreline. This involved extensive integration with VisualBasic, C, ARC/INFO, and dBase IV on a Windows platform. Sanjay leveraged his excellent communication skills, maintaining constant communication with the customer and developers. This ensured the application met the customers' requirements, resulting in a project completed on time. This system provided the organization, for the first time, an effective program to easily monitor and track erosion rates.
