RAW Opening:

Raw opens up with Michael Cole confronting Vince McMahon about a rumor on WWF.COM of Vince making a huge announcement. Vince doesn't make the big announcement but he does state that a tag team battle royal match, elimination style, will take place tonight where the winners will be the #1 contenders for the WWF tag titles. Michael Cole then tells Vince that he really enjoyed Saturday Night Live. Vince then welcomes us to Raw is War in his Saturday Night Live voice.

RoadDogg, X-Pac, and Tori come to the ring. Their WWF Agression music is played instead of their regular music. RoadDogg does his spiel on the mic then the Hardy Boys come out for a match with them.

RoadDogg and X-Pac w/ Tori vs Hardy Boys

-Match starts off with Xpac doing a few moves on Matt Hardy. Matt poweslams Xpac then connects with a back elbow. RoadDodd and Jeff Hardy are tagged in. Jeff hits RoadDogg with a baseball slide dropkick for a two count. Matt and Jeff hit RoadDogg with a double leg drop. Matt with a ddt on RoadDogg. Jeff tagged in and springboards off RoadDogg with a lariat on Xpac. Jeff then springboards off Matt for a back elbow into RoadDogg. Matt and Jeff toss RoadDogg out of the ring then Kane's music hits and he comes out with Paul Bearer. Kane went after Xpac and Tori so RoadDogg was left in there by himself to receive a senton bomb from Jeff for the pin. After the match Kane chokeslams Tori. The Hardys advance and will be in the battle royal tonight.

Back from commercial, Triple H and Stephanie come out to the ring for some mic time. Triple H says that after WrestleMania we will have no choice but to bow down and respect him. Triple H starts talking about the match that Vince said at the top of the program that would rock the foundation of the WWF. Triple H calls out Vince but instead Big Show comes out with Shane. Triple H and Stephanie are shown walking backstage. Shane says that tonight Triple H will defend the WWF title against the Big Show. The crowd boos. Triple H says no. He don't have to defend the title before WrestleMania although he would but it won't be against Big Show because he don't deserve it. Vince McMahon then comes out. Vince says yes indeed Triple H will defend the WWF title against Big Show and The Rock. Vince says he knows WrestleMania is two weeks away but why not have the WrestleMania main event tonight in that very ring. Shane says he likes that and it is a smart business decision. They ask Triple H to accept the match. Tr iple H says the match is a go BUT this match will never take place AGAIN. There will be no rematch, this is it. Triple H says if that's the stipulation then they have a deal. Vince tells Triple H to pucker his lips and kiss the WWF title goodbye.

The Godfather w/ 5 hoes vs Big Bossman w/ Bull Buchanan

-Godfather does his spiel on the mic. As soon as Bossman and Bull enter the ring both of them attack Godfather. The bell hasn't even sounded yet and Bull hits a top rope leg drop on Godfather. Bossman and Bull then leave the ring.
Winner: No Contest

X-Pac and RoadDogg are shown in the back asking Triple H for help. Triple H makes a match between Rikishi and Kane.

Back from commercial, a promo for Trish Stratus and Tori is shown.

Too Cool vs Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko w/ Eddie Guerrero

-The match starts off with all four men fighting. Too Cool quickly clears the ring. Scotty hits a belly to back suplex on Malenko then tags Sexay. Sexay back body drops Saturn. Saturn runs Sexay into the corner upside down. Sexay with a missile dropkick off the top on Saturn for a two count. Eddie sucks chants. Malenko with a vertical suplex on Scotty. Saturn back elbows Scotty in the corner. Scotty crotches Saturn on the ropes. Sexay clotheslines Malenko and Saturn. Scotty bulldogs Saturn then goes for the worm but gets tripped up by Guerrero. Malenko powerbombs Scotty and puts him on the Texas Cloverleaf but there is no ref. Sexay kicks Malenko in the head and then covers him for the pin. Too Cool advance to the battle royal match.

Jim Ross says they found out during commercial break that Rikishi and Kane will be tag team partners at WrestleMania taking on X-Pac and RoadDogg.

Kane w/ Paul Bearer vs Rikishi Phatu

-Match starts off with right hands by Rikishi. Rikishi nails Kane in the face with a superkick. Kane knocks Rikishi down with a big boot. Kane chokeslams Rikishi then calls for the tombstone. Before he can hit the tombstone Kane and Xpac come out and attack him. Rikishi gets to his feet and helps out Kane but not for long as Xpac delivers the x-factor. Xpac and RoadDogg leave the ring as Kane and Rikishi are frustrated.
Winner by DQ: Kane

Kevin Kelly interviews Chris Benoit backstage. Benoit says that Angle disgusts him what he does with the WWF gold.

Michael Cole interviews The Rock backstage. Rock tells Cole that he should go suck on a monkey's nipple and tells him to leave. The Rock says he is ready for his match tonight. He says it don't matter what day it is because he is always ready. Rock finishes off with "if ya smell...."

Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho.

-Angle came out to the ring first and went to get on the mic but before he could talk Y2J's music started up. "Welcome to Raw is Jericho." Jericho starts making fun of the way Benoit talks. Jericho says that he will give Benoit a Y2J beating he will never eveeeeer forget. benoit then attacks Jericho as the match starts up. Angle made his way to the announce table to provide color commentating. Jericho nails Benoit in the head with repeat knee lifts. Benoit catapults Jericho neck first into the ropes. Benoit follows up with a neckbreaker for a two count. Benoit locks on a reverse chinlock. Benoit catches Jericho in the mid-section with a knee lift. Drop toe hold by Jericho. Jericho chops Benoit in the corner. Standing dropkick by Jericho which sends Benoit out of the ring. While Benoit is outside the ring he nails Angle. Jericho knocks Benoit off the ring apron with a springboard missile dropkick. Angle nails Benoit in the face with the belt. Jericho then hits a springboard moonsault for the pin. After the match Bob Backlund comes out and he and Angle beat on Jericho and Benoit.
Winner: Chris Jericho

Al Snow and Steve Blackman are shown backstage. Snow tries to bribe Blackman with a dollar. Blackman says your trying to bribe me with a dollar? Snow says ok how about a Ben Franklin? A Ben Franklin character is then shown and the segment is cut.

Crash and Hardcore Holly vs Al Snow and Steve Blackman.

-Match starts off with Snow slamming Crash. Snow with multiple headbutts on Crash. Crash clotheslines Snow off of Hardcore's shoulders. Hardcore with an atomic drop followed up by a clothesline on Snow. Hollys double team Snow. Tazz's music starts up. Taxx suplexes Crash out of the ring. Now we have a hardcore match between Crash and Tazz at the same time. Crash defends his title 24/7 so I guess so. Crash and Tazz fight all the way into the hallways of the arena. Back in the ring Snow and Blackman pin Hardcore with a top rope guiloteen legdrop. Snow and Blackman advance to the battle royal match. Ross and Lawler say that Crash has escaped out of the building so I guess he successfully defended his hardcore title.
Winners: Al Snow and Steve Blackman.

Back from commercial, a GTV segment is shown with The Cat and Terri Runnels. Terri says she is in pain but not near the pain that The Cat feels not being on TV anymore. Terri walks off and The Cat is pissed.

Edge and Christian vs The Acolytes.

-Match starts off with Christian coming off the top on both the Acolytes. Faarooq hits a one handed spinebuster on Christian that looked brutal. Bradshaw scoop slams Christian for a two count. Faarooq hits Christian with a weak clothesline. Christian with the inverted ddt on Faarooq. Mideon comes to the ring and just stands there holding a stick. Edge tagged in and hits a top rope lariat on Faarooq. Acolytes do a double neckbreaker on Christian. Mideon accidently hits Faarooq with the stick and Edge makes the pin. After the match the Acolytes kick Mideon's ass. Edge and Christian advance to the battle royal match.
Winners: Edge and Christian

Val Venis vs Test

-Test comes out with Trish Stratus. Val and Test have a friendly hand slap before the match. Match starts off with a drop toe hold by Val. Full nelson slam by Test. Val chops Test in the corner. Test whips Val into the opposite corner hard. Val slams Test for a two count. Russian leg sweep by Val. Trish steps up on the ring apron which gets Val's attention. Test hits Val from behind. Several rollups later Test gets the pin by using Val's tights. After the match Prince Albert comes out and he and Test double team Val. Trish gets on the mic and calls them off of Val. She then says she knows what we all want to see and that is T&A, as in Test and Albert.
Winner: Test

Tag Team Battle Royal: Edge and Christian vs Too Cool vs Steve Blackman and Al Snow vs Hardy Boys.

-Dudley Boys are out for color commentating on this match. Scotty does the worm on Steve Blackman. Hardys eliminate Too Cool and Snow and Blackman. Jeff does a swanton bomb on Christian. Dudleys enter the ring and put the 3D on Edge and Matt Hardy. Dudleys set a table up in the ring and place Christian on it. Buh Buh Ray powerbombs Jeff Hardy off the top onto Christian through the table.
Winner: No Contest

Triple H w/ Stephanie McMahon vs Big Show w/ Shane McMahon vs The Rock w/ Vince McMahon.

-Match starts off with Big Show and HHH double teaming The Rock. Rock fights back with lefts and rights. Rock with a side russian leg sweep on Big Show for a two count. Rock pancake slams HHH for a two count. Rock clotheslines HHH out of the ring. HHH takes a swing at Vince but misses and Vince hits him. Rock Bottom on Big Show but HHH makes the save. Rock and HHH fight out into the crowd. Big Show follows them out into the crowd. Rock slams Big Show's head into the announce table. Back in the ring HHH hits Rock with a high knee followed up by a elbow drop by Big Show. HHH kicks Rock down in the corner. Big Show chokes Rock in the corner. HHH starts telling Big Show what to do to Rock. Backbreaker on Rock by Big Show. HHH pounds on Rock's head. Rock starts fighting back but HHH knocks him back on his ass. Big Show sends Rock to the outside. Rock whips HHH into the ring steps. Big Show with a blatant low blow on Rock. Shane chokes Rock on the ropes while the ref's back was turned. HHH clotheslines Rock. Big Sho w with a foot to the throat of Rock. Big Show and HHH start fighting each other. Big Show knocks HHH down with a back elbow. Big Show walks into a foot from HHH. Rock starts fighting back. Rock with a ddt on Big Show. Rock with a samoan drop on HHH for a two count. Big Show chokeslams Rock. HHH makes the save. HHH sends Big Show out of the ring with a knee face buster. Big Show chokeslams HHH off the announce table onto the floor. Rock hits Big Show with the spinebuster then goes for the rock bottom but Shane pulled down the ropes making Rock fall out. Vince hits Shane then HHH hits Vince. HHH enters the ring and puts the pedigree on Big Show for the pin. After the match Rock chases Shane through the crowd all the way to the back. Linda McMahon comes out to the top of the entrance way with a microphone. She congratulates HHH on his WrestleMania victory. She says that he is right that there will be no rematch. She clearly says that he, Big Show, and Rock should be at WrestleMania but she wants to add a special ingredient to the main event. She says now the main event will be a fatal 4 way match. HHH has to defend his title against Big Show, Rock, and Mick Foley! Foley then comes out and starts kicking HHH's ass and the show ends.
