To use this letter, simply copy/paste it into a new
Microsoft Word document and print it. *Then mail it
along with an angel pin to one of the two addresses
found in the email you received after signing up. After we receive your letter and pin we will then send it by express mail to The Salvation Army in New York City along with the other letters we have received that week. If you can't afford an angel pin you can still participate. Just email either Patsy or Linda and let us know you want to participate. One of us will get back to you as soon as possible with the details. You are also welcome to write your own letter using this letter or one of the other letters provided as a guideline. Your heart is very heavy these days. Now you are alone. You feel so lost and empty. My name is ______________________________. I live in __________________________. We know your pain and heartache. We have watched how people suffered. We now watch as You reach out to others. We know A Memorial to the brave Men and Women who died that day would be a great comfort for you the Grieving Family Members. It is only fitting that They should be honored, and you should have a place to go to visit, to place your Tributes there. I want you to know that I am praying for you, I will continue to pray for you. Although you are full of sorrow and grief, and you feel this world has dealt you a terrible disaster, I want you to know the Lord is with you, He never leaves or forsakes those who love him. If you do not know the Lord as your Savior, I pray for your salvation. Please feel free to contact me, I would find it an honor to be able to develop A friendship with you. Fill their hearts with love, Watch over and guide them in all they do. I ask that you place protection around them.
