The Edain
The Edain were the Men of the three houses that were friendly with the Elves of Beleriand. Men were the Second Children of Illúvatar. They travelled over the Blue Mountains into Ossiriand. Unwelcome there because of their hunting habits, they knew nothing of the elves until Finrod found them. These were the Men of Bëor. They left Ossiriand and journeyed to Estolad where they settled.
