I received an interesting rejection letter from a site listing I submitted to. The first listing I ever submitted to was the Spark.. and they accepted me- for some reason.. and this is the first girl that emailed me to tell me why my site wasn't good enough to be a part of her listing.
When I first started submitting my site to site listings I had never expected to be listed and was hoping to be able to tell my point of veiw on free hosting .. and this girl gave me my first chance to do this- it was really funny.

First off- You broke the second rule, no free servers.
Secondly - Why the hell would you want your clique about going against the "regular" clique/ring/etc rules to be in a site listing that has a few of those "regular" rules? I mean... apparently you didn't read the rules... Sorry if I seem like a bitch, seriously, I am. But the reason I don't like banners/pop-ups/ads, is, well, if you're serious about the website, you'd consider getting hosted.

My Reply:
That's fine, hun. But someones being a bit too emotional.
First off, rules were made to be broken. Simple as that.
Secondly, I chose angelfire delibratly. Simply because of the server I use, is not really an acceptable reason for rejection. Although I understand that it is your site.. and I'll respect that.. you really should be evaluating content and design, shouldn't you? I'm mainly surprised that you even send out rejection emails. You were never forced to give a damn.. that's your choice, dahling. I'm confused about the other 'points' you have there- why do I want my site listed? I didn't ever expect to be listed anywhere- I came up with a different idea and joined listings for the shock factor..
No, I don't think you're a bitch, I've never met you. That would be rather shallow of me to judge someone I've never met.. don't you think?
My intent was never to offend you, and, I'm sorry if I've upset you by stepping out of the four walls of your site listing. I'm also sorry you take the internet so terribly seriously. And lastly: you, dearie, are in no place to judge how 'serious' I am about my website. Thanks, I can decide that for myself, it's none your business, please keep it that way. Some people cannot buy domains, and some dislike the idea of begging strangers to pay for their websites and I think that people label you by the server you use- so I set out to prove them wrong.. or have fun while trying. Just because someone does not pay for their site, does not mean that it's any less than someone's that does. Talent, does not change at the price of a domain. Either you like the site, or you do not.. you cannot say 'Oh I hate your server- you don't care about your site because you don't pay for it.'
I do not think you're an elitist bitch. Dahling, you've nothing more than a severe case of close-minded stupidity. But that's not my problem, is it? Thanks for emailing me- you don't mind if I add this to my site, do you? I mean.. you're hilarious- thanks again!
