Saving to Floppy Disk
Its a good idea to save to images and text documents onto floppy disks since computers tend to fail and/or crash after hours of usage; and, often as not, when you least expect it.
The following explains how to save images to floppy disks.
For demonstration purposes, I will use one of my own graphics on the Internet... the "Fairy Welcome" image.
The first thing you need to do, is have a floppy disk ready for saving to in the A:\ drive (thats the place where floppy disks go on your computer).
Step 1: The image. When you have located an image that you want to save, you right click on the image and see a menu of commands:
Select "Save Picture As."
Step 2: The next thing you will see is the "Save Picture" box, where you will locate the computer menu "Save In".
Click on the "down arrow" of the sub-directory menu, and see:
As indicated, select 3 1/2 Floppy (A:)
When you select this, the menu field will reflect this change and look like this:
Notice that whatever the image's name was upon its uploading, it will be named likewise in the "File name" field.
Step 3: Click on the "Save" button.
