It is being a while.

Work - ok

life - ok

Kids - lol they have complicated lives, but I guess they are ok too.

Cars - the two Teslas are doing ok, the Performance one is amazing even after 4 years, doing 11.6 @ the 1/4, still makes me leave the Kawasali 1000 in the garage even on sunny days (Instant torque I guess). a track day demostrated that these cars are not only fast in a straight line. Simply amazing.

NEW! I'll do it. I'll bring you flowers if I survive this -- but I don't expect to It's the only life I'm any good for now, and it looks like it's the only life you've ever known. So I suggest we make a pact. Since we're both in it for the long haul, whoever dies first, the other one can come and bring flowers to their grave. How's that? It's the rain -- makes me sentimental. I don't know why I should care about that -- it's just I love flowers. And I don't think I'll be getting any -- I'm all alone, after all. We have that much in common, don't we. That we're both hunters and we're both alone. Oh well, I'm being silly -- doesn't really matter

Sabbatical

For sabbatical

Well two weeks ago-

Seattle - Karate test to my Sabbanin and kjb.

visited several places like the pikes street market. seattle museum.

Prepared for my black belt test.

last week' oct 18, 2008

my karate test, 1st dan. I'm now a Cho Gyo Nim (A student Instructor)

Mastered the escrima philipino sticks, nunchakus (single, working on double) Jujitsu (still white ), started bo stick forms. Tae know do first seven Palgwes, mua thai (moves kicks and some forms).

Helped students will be participating in a SOLV restoration project at the historic AT Smith House in Forest Grove

saw the oldest shoe , 9500 years old. could not smell it though. :P

Bruce Lee and I

On the weekend of the UBBT 5 test. Oct 10 Friday at 3:00 PM

I was honored to visit Bruce Lee's grave with the UBBT 5 team and Tom Callos.

We met there with Bruce Lees friend Taky Kimura, who took charge of his shool after his death.

He is an impresive person who really demostrated what an MA is. And that Bruce was a really good person.

Taki talked about the kind of person Bruce was.

He said that even the chinnese did not want him to teach to different races (other than chinnese) but wanted to teach to good people regardless of the race.

He made some anecdotes about how the chinese sent a big karate guy to teach him a lesson but he did not last too long before going to the floor.

This was actually one of the highlights on my sabbatical.
