As always it's been a long time since the last update, like us on facebook for up to date information. Firstly the big unfortunate news is that earlier in the year Ross decided to leave the band to concentrate on other things outside of music. It's been a great ride with Ross who has been here since the beginning and we wish him all the best. His replacement is Joe Menzel who played with Luke in another band called Squeeze the Juice many years ago. Since this time the band has been busy building a new practice/studio room, practicing with Joe and various other bits and pieces. As 2013 approaches then begins you can expect a new look website, a new CD, a name change and whole bunch of live shows.
2nd November 2011
This coming Friday night we will be playing at the World Wrestling X-Treme Semi National tour Melbourne event. The show also features former WWE star Luke Gallows (aka Festus). Click on this text for more details .

The EP will be out within the next month or 2 so stay tuned for more details.
Wow, we really set a record this time, over a year since our last update!!! We have updated the myspace page quite a few times over that period but have really let the website slip. Check out the myspace updates for all the dirt but for a summary of the past year and a bit it would be as follows. Look for new drummer, get old mate Gav, do some gigs, everyone get really busy with other stuff, build recording studio and start recording new CD. So now in 2010 you can expect a new CD around mid year and more shows. Also a merchandise page coming soon. As always , check out our myspace page for more details.

I can't believe how few updates we have done this year, then again it has been a fairly quiet year due to commitments outside of the band. The big news is that Dave has left the band so we are looking for a new drummer. The main reasons were that Dave didn't have the time needed to dedicate to the band, and as his interests have always been in heavier more metal music and not our style, he wanted to move on. The WWE wishes Dave all the best in his future endeavors. Any drummers feel like joining? Get in contact. Before Dave left, we recorded a few new songs including 'This Month's Apocalypse' which be included on the Punkocalypse compilation CD coming out soon. More details when the release date is near. Our unofficial 4th (or I guess it's now 3rd) member Shaun is back from the UK for a month or 2, so watch out!!!

The first of these will be this week at the Espy in St Kilda on Thursday night, the 23rd of March. At this point we don't know what time we are on or if there is a door charge, so just rock up perhaps around 8:00 to be safe. On Friday night we also shot a video clip for our song 'Moron Humanity', we will add more details soon. Luke's corner has also been updated. Also check us out at my space, we will add a link soon.
BIG NEWS!
Our new CD 13 is OUT NOW!!! At the moment it is available from the band members personally and through the website. It will soon be available at Leading Edge stores in Warragul and Traralgon. In website news the bio has been changed, photos have been altered here and there, and photos have been added in Luke's Corner. Don't forget, BUY THE CD!!!! For more info click on the discography.
It has been a long time since the last update so we'll fill you in. Over the Christmas and holiday period we took a break from the band before coming back together mid to late January and jamming again. On the first of Feb we got the CD mastered, then last week fixed some of the art work then sent it all off to get made on Monday. The CD should be out in a few weeks. For info on track listing and a free mp3 click on the discogragphy.
We have finished designing all the artwork for the new CD and it has been put together. All we have to do now is get it mastered and then released. We may also be doing a video clip for one of the songs in the next few weeks. Luke's Corner has been added to the website so check it out down the bottom of the page.

Well, all went as planned and our new CD has been recorded. We spent 2 days at Cavilear Studios in Research on the 12th and 13th of this month recording and mixing 6 songs and a bonus track. Sometime soon we will add a more detailed report of those two days. We will mix it again then eventually get it mastered. During the past week we were taking photos for the CD and we will start desiging the packaging this coming week. Dave's Corner on the website has also been updated so check it out.
First of all, thanks to all those who came to see us headline the Battle of the Bands the other week. Once again it ran over time and we didn't get to play until after the official finish time, but it was good to see that a lot of people stuck around. Sorry to those who really wanted to see us but had to leave before we went on, it was totally beyond our control. The big news is that we are going into the studio this week on Wednesday and Thursday to record our next CD. If all goes well we will have 6 songs and a bonus track done. One again it be recorded at Cavilear in Research. Check back soon for more details.

28th of July 2005
Like usual it has been a long time since the last update, and for all the usual reasons. As a result there is a lot to tell. Thanks to those who came to the Warragul Battle of the Bands and saw our first show with Dave on drums. We were the special guest headline band. It was a great night and it was fantastic to see so many people there rocking out to our set. A few weeks later we did another show in Neerim South and despite the fact it ran seriously overtime, meaning we didn't even get to play until after the finishing time, we had a lot of fun and a big thanks goes out to those who stayed later to see us. We also made a surprise appearance at the second Warragul Battle of the Bands a couple of weeks ago and got a great response. We did not know we were going to play until a few hours before it started and it was great to see the excited response from people when the word began to spread. At this point in time we are in the process of planning our new CD and getting a new batch of T-shirts made up. The t-shirts should be available in the next few weeks. We will also be playing as special guests at the final Battle in Warragul this year. Until the next update, rock on!!.
23rd of May 2005
A few things. One, we are playing at the Warragul Battle of the Bands this coming Saturday. Check the above flyer for details. We are not competing, we are the guest band. It will be our first gig with Dave so come along. Two, check this week's Warragul Gazette as there is an article on us and the Battle in it. Three, if you haven't already, check out the FSBS skate DVD Issue 8 as they have included our track 'Life' on the soundtrack.
18th of March 2005
Well it certainly has been a long time since the last update. Back in January we got a new drummer by the name of Dave. Since then we have been practicing about 2 times a week and getting Dave up and going with many of our songs, as well as writing some new ones. So far things are sounding very cool, and as Dave is a big metal fan we are including some double kick stuff in our songs which sound cool. Our plans for this year include doing more shows and recordiong a new CD. I will also slowly be updating things on the site to reflect the lineup change.
DRUMMER WANTED!!!!!!!
Some fairly big and unfortunate news. Daniel has left the band. This actually happened a couple of months ago but we had not got around to updating the site. Daniel was just too busy with work to continue with the band and we wish him all the best. Since then we have continued to practice without a permenant drummer. If YOU are a dummer and are interested in joining the band get in contact with us.
Just a quick note to say that an mp3 of Life has been added to the sounds page. More mp3s will be added in the next few weeks. Also, thanks to those who came to see us at the Pony.
1st of September 2004
We have a gig this Thursday night at the Pony in Melbourne along with Fisted By Midnight and The Silence. We will be on around 11:00 but come early to check out the other great bands. Also, thanks to those who came to see us at the Balicorn.
It has once again been a long time between updates. Thanks to those who came to see us at the Tote, it was a good night. Photos from the night have been added to the photos section. We have more gigs coming up at Revolver, The Arthouse and the Balicorn so click here for more details . Also in the last two months we have had a small article in Kerrang magazine, an appearance on Syn FM radio and most recently an interview and accoustic performance on Syn TV on Channel 31. Thanks to all those involved who have allowed all this to happen.
This is the first update in a while. Firstly we have a show at the Tote in Collingwood on the 9th of June along with Nurnburger and She'll Keep. Please go along and support us and these bands, it will be our first Melbourne area show. Secondly, recording of our next CD has been delayed and may not take place until near the end of the year. Thirdly thanks to all those who saw us at the Commercial Hotel in Warragul a while back. It was a great night and we were happy with how it went. Also our CD is now available at more shops including Missing Link and Cumbersom Records, along with Trak Music and Zalis in Warragul, Leading Edge Music in Tralagon, and International Trash in Richmond. Sone new photos have also been added to the photo section.
We are playing a show at the Comemrical Hotel in Warragul on Saturday the 6th of March. This will be our first show since reforming. We will play 2 sets starting somewhere around 11:00. Entry is free. The CD is also now available from LEADING EDGE MUSIC in Tralgon and INTERNATIONAL TRASH RECORDS in Richmond, as well as TRAK MUSIC and ZALIS in Warragul. Keep your eyes open for an article on the band in the next issue of Buzz Magazine.
There are a few things to report. Firstly, several sections on the website have been updated or changed and more changes are happening. Secondly we have gotten rid of the old guestbook and have a new messageboard up, please leave a message. Finally in this week's Warragul Gazette there is an article on the band. Overall it is a very cool and accurate article with the exception of the fact that it says that Luke is Daniel and Daniel is Luke. Also it claims that we are inspired by death which we are not. I don't remember any of us saying that, but I could be wrong as maybe someone said it jokingly. Anyway it is a very cool article and a big thanks to the Warragul Gazette.
Wow, first update for the year and what a year it should be. Our EP 'Life' is available now. At this point it can only be obtained from Zalis and Trak Music in Warragul, or from us. Changes will be made to the site over the next week and more information will be made available about the EP. Want a copy? Email us.
Well once again it has been a long time since the last update. In the time since the last update we have reorded, mixed and mastered our EP (the four songs listed plus a bonus track) and are just waiting to complete the artwork then get the CDs made. We spent one weekend recording at Caverliar in late July, went back one morning the next week to mix it, mixed it a few more times, got it mastered at Edensound about two weeks ago and now it's just matter of the artwork and duplication. I will update again when it is done.
We have been practicing a lot lately and are going into the studio this weekend to record our EP. At this stage we plan to have 4 songs on it. These songs will be three new ones titled 'Lonely and Useless', 'Life' and 'Master Plan', and we will re-record the song 'Victim' which appeared on our 'Doug Conspiracy' demo back in 1998.
Quite a lot has been happening with the band lately. We have been practising a fair bit and will be recording an EP in about a month. We have also changed our name to 'Jason Lives' as there is another band called Voorhees. As a result I will be changing quite a few things on the site in the near future to reflect this change. The band members section has also been updated.
Big news with The Voorhees. Brendan has left the band and Daniel (our original drummer) has returned. This all happened about a month ago but I had not got around to updating the site. Both Ross and myself (Luke) live in Warragul while Brendan lives in Melbourne (he was originally from Warragul). He had been making trips down here but in the end it got too hard to organise and we had to part ways. Daniel was called, he brought a new drum kit and rejoined. The 3 of us are in the process of writing new songs and getting our old ones happening again.
The Voorhees are back and have a new drummer. We are in the process of practicing and writing new songs, as well as coming up with a new name. The line up consists of Ross Britton (vocals and guitar), Luke Woodhouse (vocals and bass) as well as Brendan Doyle (drums). I will update again soon to explain how this all came about and what our plans are.
Hey there people, it has been over a year since the last update due to slackness and a lack of stuff to report. However the big news is that The Voorhees are reforming and Squeeze the Juice have split up. As a result some more updates and changes will take place soon.
