Sprich Nomed is the first demo by The Voorhees. It was recorded in December of 1996, which was a few months after they had formed, and it was released in July of 1997. The first time it was recorded, the master tape got chewed up, so it had to be done again. The second time around, two extra songs were added, and one which had been recorded the first time, was not done again. It was recorded live onto DAT, through a PA in the kitchen of Danny Collins. The demo is rather raw and if you listen closely you will hear quite a few mistakes. Back up vocals on the extra track Demon Chirps, were done by members of a band called Squeegee, who recorded their demo in Danny’s kitchen the same day as The Voorhees. Although this demo is not an accurate account of how The Voorhees sound today, or their ability, it is still worth a listen and captures how they sounded back then.
