Tuesday, 9/2/03 Meet at Family Ed for introductions, orientation. Then leave for Oaks Park Home School Day. Cost is usually around $7.50 per child for ride passes. Bring lunches or buy concessions there. All students go directly home from Oaks Park. If you cannot attend with your child, please designate a responsible adult.
Fall 2003 Schedule of Classes
Wed-Fri, 9/3-5/03 Group activities, placement testing, and PEP-talks (Personal Education Plan) with students, parents, and teachers.
Tuesday, 9/9 Fall Term class schedules begin. Total 13 weeks in Fall Term.
Friday, 10/3 Homeschool Day at Philip Foster Farm. We'll take Family Ed students to help out, maybe do some harvesting from the garden we planted this spring.
10/10, 10/16, 10/17 School facilities available without students for (your suggestion here), gym use, computer use, science labs, music equipment, etc. These dates are so close, they'd be excellent times for a series of lessons requiring specific equipment.
Some Forestry classes will also be offered on these days.
11/22-30 No school. Whole week off for Thanksgiving.
