TJ was the red Turbo ranger and then is and still is the blue Space ranger. He received the red power key from Tommy and became leader halfway through Turbo. He continued as leader keeping the team together through thick and thin until we reached Space. There he dropped to second-in-command, giving the lead position to Andros, but he still stepped in to take command when Andros couldn't or was occupied with personal problems.
T.J. was a student at Angel Grove High. He came to Angel Grove to improve his baseball skills and along the way he met Cassie, the soon-to-be pink ranger, on the bus. He has a cool, calm, and balanced nature. He leads by example, not by force. And he makes sure everyone works as a team, in synchronicity and harmony.
TJ may have had the hardest job as a leader of the team. Unlike Jason and Tommy, their base of command, the Power Chamber was destroyed, and Zordon was in trouble on Eltar. He made the decision, after a lot of thought, to leave Earth, undefended, and help Eltar.
TJ is played by Selwyn Ward. Selwyn was born on June 13, 1977; in Kokomo, Indiana. He has an older sister and has four years in Karate. Though what he practiced is unknown to me. His favorite color is blue (fitting for his space ranger part. ^_^) And he likes grilled fish. His fav sports are baseball and basketball. TV shows he enjoys are Martin, the X-Files, South Park, the Simpsons, Power Rangers(duh!), and New York Under Cover. He also likes the movies Pulp Fiction, Scarface, Enter the Dragon, Dumb and Dumber, and the Pink Panther.
Besides Power Rangers, he's appeared in Sweet Valley High, danced in a Blackstreet Video, worked for a television dating show, and advertised for Tommy Hilfiger. He was also back with his fellow space rangers in two episodes of Lost Galaxy to lend a hand to the galaxy rangers.
