Carlos was the green ranger in Power Rangers Turbo and the black ranger in Power Rangers in Space. He got the powers of the green ranger when Dimitria decided that the former Turbo rangers needed to get on with their lives and so they each chose a replacement. Adam Park was the one who chose him to take over. Carlos knew Adam because he played on Adam's soccor team. But when Dark Specter attacked Eltar and Dimitria along with the Blue Senturion left to help, the Power Chamber was destroyed when Divatox attacked. Then Carlos with his comrades TJ, Cassie, and Ashley "borrowed" one of NASADA's shuttles and launched themselves into space. There they met Andros and the rest is history.
Carlos is an athletic boy who loves to play soccor and gets along great with Justin. He's been through some rough times since becoming a ranger. (i.e. Being turned into a vampire by Count Noctourne) But he's hanging in there. And also in Turbo, Saban writers kinda gave us the impression that he and Ashley were interested in there. But that flame slowly diminished near the end and it was basically stamped out when Ashley met Andros. But in "Grandma Matchmaker" it was brought back again, and the two ended with just being friends and they still are.
Carlos is played by Roger Velasco. Roger was born in Los Angeles, CA; but was raised in Hollywood. He's been practicing martial arts for almost three years and studies a form called Hopketo. One of his hobbies is playing soccor (just like Carlos) but hasn't had that much time because of acting.
After highschool, Roger went into modeling and it was his manager who pushed him into theatrical work which launched his acting career. He has starred in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy as a guest star with his other co-stars Christopher Khayman Lee, Tracy Lynn Cruz, Patricia Ja Lee, and Selwyn Ward. Some movies he's been in are "Across the Line," and "Living the Life." He's guest starred on "the Parkers", "Ladies Man", and "USA High."
