Carter Grayson is the Red Lightspeed Rescue Power Ranger. He is the leader and was chosen as one of the original five to protect Mariner Bay. A fire fighter by profession, he was rescue as a child in a fire, and wanted to become a fire fighter ever since. He takes his mistakes seriously and is always working to become the best he can.
Carter, by nature, is leader. He takes his role as a power ranger very seriously. One mistake from him, and you can see him trying to turn his morpher in to be given to someone else better. Since the series started, Carter has grown. He's learned to accept his mistakes, kinda, and realize that everyone makes mistakes. But by nature he will always be a perfectionist.
When Carter was a little boy, he had a role model, the fireman who saved him. He trained most of his life to be just like that fireman. Unbeknownst to him, that fire fighter has always been watching him. It was he who picked Carter to become a ranger. In a similar attempt of saving another little girl's life in a factory, Carter discovers that Capt. Mitchell was that fire fighter.
When Ryan was taken captive by Queen Bansheera, Carter saw it as his duty to go after him and bring him back. He saved Ryan and returned just in time to help the other rangers stop Queen Bansheera from completing the circle of stones. In an attempt to save everyone, he risked his own life to send Bansheera back to the shadow world. With all this over with, Carter and the other rangers can be found back at their respected jobs saving people.
Carter Grayson is played by Sean CW Johnson. Sean was born in Orlando, Florida. Though he currently lives in Los Angeles, California. Some of his hobbies are movies, golfing, surfing, reading, and anything fun.
Besides starring in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, Sean has had these other roles. He was a regular on Safe Harbor, the same show CKL starred in, and guest starred on Dawson's Creek.
