Kelsey Winslow is the Yellow Lightspeed Power Ranger. She was one of the chosen five recruited by Dana Mitchell to become power rangers to protect Mariner Bay. Kelsey is the most physically fit of the six rangers due to her love of dangerous sports.
She is a fierce and fun-loving tomboy whose passion is extreme sports. On the show, some of the sports we've seen her do are skateboarding, and mountain climbing. She has a fearless attitude which carries over to her personal life where she is outspoken and quick with a sarcastic remark. Sure she may be crazy at times, but her fellow teammates can't help admire her boundless energy and infectious spirit.
Kelsey's daredevilness comes into play when she meets Karen, an astronaught about to go on a test flight. Diabolico sends a tornado monster that sends her craft spinning out of control and it's Kelsey's idea to land the shuttle on top of Haz Rescue Five. As crazy as the plan sounds, it worked.
During the second season when Vypra is gathering the starlight crystals to make a weapon out of, we get to meet Kelsey's rich but cold grandmother. She owns the fifth and the last starlight crystal which Vypra needs to acquire to make her machine work. Kelsey convinces her grandmother to entrust it into the rangers to protect, and it gets stolen. Her grandmother gets mad, and Kelsey runs off crying. Carter gives the old lady a piece of his mind before going off after Kelsey. However, Kelsey has found the demons and is going after them herself. She gets herself into trouble and who should come to her rescue but grandma! The two reconciles their differences and are seen rollerblading off.
In the end, Kelsey was last seen with the other rangers running to the rescue of a fire.
Kelsey Winslow is played by Sasha Williams. Sasha was bit by the acting bug when she had the opportunity to work with Robin Williams on the movie "Flubber." In her spare time, she loves to snowboarding, and would ever consider going pro if she didn't enjoy acting as much as she does.
Besides starring in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue, Sasha was in the movie "Flubber", and guest starred on the TV show "To Tell the Truth."
