Why this site was made.
Dear Blue Believers,
- I would like to take this time to tell of how I became a Blue Believer. It was July 14, 1994 when I went to a football game to see the Winnipeg Blue Bombers take on the Edmonton Eskimos. I was not really interested in football at this time but the winter before I had been watching NFL games on T.V. and I found that I was very curious as to what this sport was all about. During this game Matt Dunigan (my favourite player of all time) broke the single- game passing record with 713 yards. Alfred Jackson caught 7 passes for 308 yards in a 50-35 win over the Eskimos. After this game I was hooked and since then I haven't missed a game. I will always be a Blue Believer and since I am only 18, I know that I will see plenty of Bomber victories throughout my lifetime. The Bombers are a team of tradition and the winning tradition will always live on in Winnipeg.
- Thank you,
- Julie Kozak
