The Connection Between Edge and Gangrel

They are two of the most mysterious figures in the World Wrestling Federation. One is a tortured soul, hiding in the rafters, waiting for his chance to strike.
The other appears to be a modern-day vampire, right down to the very real ultra-sharp fangs that protrude from his mouth.
Today everyone is talking about Gangrel and Edge.
Very little is known about these men, but one thing is apparent to all: Edge despises the newcomer.
This fact became painfully clear when he attacked Gangrel following his match with X-Pac on RAW IS WAR. The chaos involving DX and Double J had been cleared when the tortured soul leapt into the ring in a fit of rage. The Toronto native immediately took Gangrel to the mat, pummeling him with countless vicious blows to the head.
Federation officials quickly broke up the melee, but were instantly repulsed when it became evident that Gangrel seemed to be enjoying the pain!
Edge has made such "random" strikes against other superstars before. Both D'Lo Brown and "Marvelous" Marc Mero have felt the wrath of this tortured soul. However, these previous attacks paled before the ferocity that was unleashed on Gangrel. But what caused such hatred?
So now the speculation begins…do these two athletes have some sort of past with one another? Seeing as how they employ a similar high-impact style of wrestling, maybe they had similar training in the sport. These superstars also clearly enjoy inflicting pain on their opponents, showing that both have a somewhat similar mindset.
The whole truth regarding this situation will hopefully be revealed in the near future.
Regardless, is seems as if we are just beginning to understand what lurks inside the mysterious mind of Edge!
