The Questions Surrounding Edge

Quiet, mysterious, calm, loud, maniacal, etc.
Each portrait of Edge seems hypocritical of the next. Ask a dozen people to describe the superstar in one word, and chances are no two would be the same. Each appearance raises new questions that outnumber the answers a million to one. Why is he here? Why does he act the way he does? We're no closer to the truth than when he first entered the World Wrestling Federation.
Within the riddle known as Edge, there are intangible pieces that we have discovered about the superstar. It's like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, only this will require more time and energy to piece together. The only difference is that we can only wait for Edge to offer up the fragments - and then hope we can find where they all fit.

      Now, what we do know...
He is 6'4", 240 pounds and hails from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He has yet to step foot in a locker room-preferring to arrive at the buildings in his wrestling gear. He haunts the inner workings of the arenas, cloaked in darkness or watching the matches from the stands.
Beyond that, he remains a mystery - an enigmatic tortured soul.
For several weeks Edge appeared regularly in the ring, but offered little insight into his background or his intentions in the Federation. Then, without warning, he attacked "Marvelous" Marc Mero following his match with "Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman on RAW IS WAR-like a cobra with some reason to lash out. The strike was so swift cameras barely captured it in time!
It was a new side to Edge - perhaps even more frightening than we've ever seen before.
Since the attack, wrestling insiders have theorized about what Edge's intentions might be. Was he drawn to Sable perhaps? Payback to Mero for some past event? According to some at Titan Tower, one of these MUST be the answer!

      Or, is it something else?
Perhaps what drives Edge is pure rage for everything and everyone around him. There are many cases in medical science where rage has consumed a person's life until it literally controls them - making them do things most find unimaginable. A common theme among felons locked away for crimes involving rage is their claim to have "seen red" before committing their violent acts. What if Edge's life is a continual, so that he is not in control of his own actions? If so, Edge's future is one which even he can't forsee.

How can we assemble the puzzle if the artist doesn't even know how the pieces fit?
