Edge has proven his winning edge... Those vignettes that preceded his debut were reminiscent of the slick marketing packages that WWF fans now seem to detest... But Edge, because of his sinister demeanor, is an interesting individual... Formerly known as Sexton Hardcastle... Veteren of Canada, Michigan, and Pennsylvania independents... Edge is probably glad he doesn't have to sit in the crowd anymore... Too many fans were asking him if he was actually a wrestler... When he made his first ring appearance on television, there was no doubt that Edge was a serious wrestler... Nearly crippled Jesus Estrada... What do they say about first impressions?... Gangrel targeted upon his arrival in the WWF... Their intense rivalry was never fully explained... Edge defeated Gangrel in several matches... Edge's brother, Christian Cage, began accompanying Gangrel... Edge's connection with gangrel had never been fully explained, then a lost sibiling mysteriously appears with his archenemy... Wasn't this a plot in an Anne Rice novel?... Edge may look like something like Brad Pitt, but Gangrel will never pass as Tom Cruise... Then, without explanation, Edge joined Gangrel and Christian... We appriciate a happy ending, but we never understood the beginning... This Gothic trio should become a real force in the WWF... Since Christian captured the WWF light heavyweight title within a few weeks oh his debut, isn't it about time that Edge made a run for the Intercontinental belt?... Can ken Shamrock "The World's Most Dangerous Man," be a match for a Vampire and his cohorts?... We'll bet Kenny will blow his top over this one... Or Edge and Gangrel could challenge WWF World tag team champions Billy Gunn and Jesse James... New Age vs Old Age... Can the alliance between Edge and Gangrel stay intact?... Or is Edge doing this for Christian's sake?... Either way, 1999 should be Edge's breakout year.
