My Gene Collection

I had always wanted a Gene doll ever since the first time I saw her, but could not bring myself to spend the money for it. In early December of last year I walked into the local doll store only to find they were getting rid of there Gene collection. I then found out that they had marked everything down 50% off. It would be an understatement to say I was thrilled. The poor store lady had a hard time of it because when I get really excited I start to stutter. It was a good thing my mother was there to help her out. I had a reason to be excited though I think they had Sparkling Seduction, Bird-of-Paradise and Pin-up. The Pin-up was $35.00!! I of course purchased her and the rest was history. My mother also bought me the Bird-of-Paradise for my birthday.

They also had plenty of gene clothes on sale. They had Blue evening, Tango, El morocco, and Good Bye New York. I purchased all of them except the latter one.
