- 1891-The first Glaswegian sees the Campsies sober.
- 1896-The second Glaswegian sees the Campsies sober.
- 1897-It is discovered that only one Glaswegian has seen the Campsies sober, as it was the same guy.
- 1898-Clachaig Mountaineering Club is formed.
- 1898 1/2-Clachaig Mountaineering Club gets first working class member.
- 1990-Women get into mountaineering.
- 1991-Scottish mountaineering suffers a blow as Glasgow Rangers win the league again.
- 1992-There's an avalanche in N.C. Gully (the Englishmen's route,Grade II), but unfortunately no Englishmen are killed.
- 1993-Madonna has hit single.
- 1994-The first Glaswegian sees Glencoe sober.
- 1994 1/2-Sober Glaswegians declared an endangered species.
