My own philosophy about this is to take a small portion of a person's career and try to show why they are important.
I will start with 1974 which
was a pivotal year. Paul had just split from Free.
He and Simon Kirke formed a
new bad Bad Company and had 6 multi-platinium albums.
At least four are pictured here.
The first album as well as Straight
Shooter were recorded during this year. From this cd you have three classic
rock songs. Good Lovin' Gone Bad, Feel Like Makin' Love, and Shooting Star,
are and always will be anthems for my generation, the generation before
me, and the one after if they have any sense.
They were a top 100 band when
they started there first US tour and when they got across to the other
side they were number one.
In 1976 Bad Company made Burnin' Sky and Run With The Pack.
My personal favorite off Burnin' Sky is track 3 called Leaving You.
Even though the rest really didn't catch on for me it is worth listening to.
Run With The Pack is another album full of classics.
Live For The Music, Simple Man, and of course Run With The Pack, just to name three will go down in history for being one of the true timeless cds.
To leave out Their 1979
release Desolation Angels would also be un acceptable.
This arguably could be the best
Bad Company release.
Rock and Roll Fantasy, Crazy
Circles, and Gone, Gone, Gone are just three that if you listen to them
will hook you into buying the CD.
Most importantly, and not to
be overlooked is Now And Live.
It has new releases and live
greatest hits bonus cd which makes it a worthwhile investment for any Paul
Rodgers fan.
The new Bad Company was just released with old and new tracks and live tracks and, if god is on my side a tour.
My greatest experience is that I have got to see him twice at a large and small venue and I hope to see him again real soon with Bad Company.
Paul has been in many bands The
Firm, Free, and the Law to name three.

themes. Let's hope that Paul's music will live on in our minds and our
hearts, as his music will in mind.
