These dogs are powerful in the body, jaws, aand can offer formidable protection. Today, this impressively hadsome dog, the descendant of ancient boar hunters is popular throughout the world as both a family dog and a guard dog. Easy to obedience train, it can show its temper; breeders, notably in Scandinavia, have reduced this trait. These dogs where breed (origanaly) in Rottweil, south Germany. There hind legs are longer than the front legs, and have an amputated tail; for fasion only. They have high, wide-set ears, yet the ears are proportionately small. They are good urban dogs, don't need much brushing, react well with obiediance, are good watch dogs, but, do not get along with other dogs to well.
