This last Lammas we took a camping trip to the Cherokee National Forest here in Tennessee. It was a wonderful time. Douglas led his first ritual. We also created an interesting s'mores ritual for our cakes part of cakes and wine.
Our ritual area, beforehand.
Our altar with the corn dollies that we made.
As evening fell we lit the candles and prepared for our ritual.
Kestral, Crescent and Douglas
We had a fun time with the s'mores ritual. We used the graham crackers for earth,
the marshmellows for air, the roasting sticks for fire and chocolate for water.
We started at the north and brought them into the center one by one. Asking the elements to join us in our feast for the harvest.
When all were in the center we sacrificed our corn dollies to the fire and roasted our marshmellows. We thanked the Lord and Lady for the bountiful harvest.
We thanked the elements for their contributions and then we enjoyed some excellent s'mores.
