As I weed out the clutter
in my mind
of my body
in my life
of my soul
My roots creep deeper
solidly into the earth
drinking the water of life.

"When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid." --Andre Lorde
Somewhere I heard that there are indeed certain people that thrive on the negative ions of the ocean air, if so I am one of them.
All my male ancestors lived high sea adventures as captains' of their ships -- Portuguese on my father's side, Norwegian on my mother's. The ocean is in my blood and in my heart, but by some twist of fate my adventures cross and recross the land. I am thankful there exists creeks, streams, lakes and rivers in this land and most of all rain to fill my heart and rejuvenate my blood.
In this age of computers and videos living from the earth is fast becoming extinct: Common sense and ingenuity to survive seem old-fashioned; knowing how to outsmart a temperamental computer is much more necessary. When all is said and done though, I feel strong and in control knowing if the plug be pulled I will still be grounded, able to deal with fears and joy alike.
I am on a journey of a lifetime and have chosen a road less traveled and it is a barely
distinguishable deer trail.
Or maybe, as Shamballa says, a new trail where no one has been for others to follow.
Yes, that is what I have known since very young and tried to avoid in
every manner possible.
It is time to stand up and take the helm. It is time to turn the light on in the lighthouse,
the one I've always wanted to live in.
Blazing new trails is hard work!
How do you create a new life: with love and joy and hope, need and want and nurturing.
A journey to know myself and claim my powers and use them to benifit mankind. I search and research
those with the same sense of purpose to hear their stories, find the significances.
If you chose to live then stand up and sing, dance and find your power.
Create and send it out over the universe planting seeds everywhere.
Interesting Stuff Others Have To Say
which move out over the things of the world.
Perhaps I can never achieve the last
but that will be my attempt.
I am circling around God, around the ancient tower,
and I have been circling for a thousand years,
and I still don't know if I am a falcon, or a storm,
or a great song."
--Rainer Maria Rilke
