Some Important LinksI sit here afraid. Afraid for the future of my son and other male children. In the search for equality men have been bashed, discriminated against, and violated. It is acceptable for this to happen. People laugh at the sitcoms that make men look stupid. Ads that are biased against men are accepted. Women have the right to choose; Men do not. It is now time for true equality. For women and men. We are taught to balk against prejudice againgst African-American's, Latino-American's, Asian- American's, religious preferences, women, the diabled, and much much more. It is time for the sake of our children to teach true equality. As you hear the jokes, the criticisms, and experiance the bias, speak out. Martin Luther King Junior's daughter once said, "It is now the time to be the leader and quit searching for one." Did you know men are disposable in our society? It is accepted that father's work long hours, sometimes two jobs to support their families. Money is to represent love. Love is fishing at 4a.m., catch in the back yard and a kiss good night. I know because I witness this with my husband and my son. At two years old I bought a boy baby doll for my son. He has been a wonderful father to Timmy and is presently six and a half years old. It is my hope that he is as good a father as my husband and is free to love his children. It is my hope that if he has an ended relationship with his children's mother that he is given both the legal and moral right's to equality. That the goal is in the BEST interest of the children. A father and a mother.
