Decency

Decency improvised
Life still maimed
Seconds first
Always seem to be
The truth always neglected
Desperation the majority, of the second party
Never wanting me for me
Telling me of crystal palaces in the sky
That never seem to fly
Why does life always take the wrong way down?
Can't I stop before I hit the ground?
Prince on a horse
Waiting in the reins
Holding out his arms
In a masqued parade
I'm waiting for a sign
To let me know the time
When my prince shall arrive
Angel at my door
Crying out for more
Looking at the wall
The paintings they behold
Why does this world cry?
She stares and asks of me
I cry and answer back
A tear inside my eyes
Incomprehensibele pains
I feel to give to you today
The earth is not a castle
The earth is just a sound
A grounded place to land on
While waiting to be found
Angel at my doorstep why haven't you been found
Did they appear dreary
Did i come from cold
Hiding in a shallow room
Underneath the floor
Waiting for a crystalline palace
Far beyond the doors
Decency is gone
She yells and screams at me
Pounding on the door majestically
Where are you from
Why do you haunt me
Ask me of the truth
Tell me of no lies
A tear is coming down my cheek waiting for a sign
Of when to fall and when to die
Tiptoeing down the hall
To my slumber and my peace
Why do I cry?
She asks as I sleep
Why do I fall?
Answer me that now
Tell me of no lies
Where is decency hidden?
As she wakes me ever so gently
