Resiting temptation
Avoiding the past
Looking for salvation
Praying for resurection
Emptiness and sorrow
Overwhelming my life
Taking control of my mind
Words that want to fly, actions that need to speak
That I cannot let go
Looking for another temptation from an angel

Who always seems to come
Yet never to appear in a brilliant light
I need to let her know the words I feel so true

The costume needs to go
