Known for Star Trek, he was also known as a common
character actor in the westerns of the 50s and 60's,
usually as a villian. His big break came when cast in
the film "Gunfight at the OK Corral!
Afraid of being typecast, he broke away from the bad
guy mold, appearing in other types of tv shows and
movies, but of course we all know what happened, and
De will always be remembered as "Bones"!
