Past Events:
(1)On Sept. 26th, 1999, Troop 101 Took a trip up to North Bend to go Roller Skating. This was another fun filled event for the scouts of Troop 101. This event was on a Saturday for the convience of the scouts due to school.

(2) Aug. 7th, 8th, and 9th, 1999, Troop 101 went on a three day camp out at Ten-Mile Lake. While we were at the camp site we were performing a service project, we were building a walk way to the main portion of the dock near the camp site. For fun we were also tubing, fishing, swimming, and riding in canoes. We were also working on requirements in our handbooks, some of us heading for Tenderfoot, and some of us heading for Second Class Scout. We had fun and we thank everyone who helped us out so that it was possible for us to do such activities.

While we were on this campout two of our scouts earned their swimming merit badge, we would like to congratulate Shane Rangel and Jason Royal. Job well done guys.

(3) On one of our past campouts to Cape Blanco State Park two scouts and the former ASM, and we're not going to say it was Ian Ranney, former scout Pete White, and former ASM Dan Ells. Pulled a little prank which ended up being a pretty BIG prank on our former Scoutmaster, Jerry White. While Jerry White was out by the fire Ian, Pete and Dan all did their parts while we put fake rubber snakes in our Scoutmasters sleeping bag. So we all went to bed and the Scoutmaster got into the tent, turned off his flashlight, and put his hand down to open his sleeping bag, then he reached his hand down agian and felt something strange in his sleeping bag. So he stood up, turned on his flashlight, and had the scare of his life. Although it was a whole heck of alot of fun, I (Ian) was unaware that snakes are his biggest fear so we all got into a whole heck of alot of T-R-O-U-B-L-E. The campout was fun and everything went well(very well, he he he), and we all learned alot(especially find out what your SM's biggest fear is so that you don't get in as much trouble). But after it all he had a sense of humor about it.
