Order of the Arrow for Troop 101
Past Events for Troop 101 in 1999
Troop 101 was founded May 5th, 1998. We started under the direction of Eagle Scout Jerry White. With Assistance of Dan Ells. The troop started after our local troop (Troop 98) went under. We started with roughly eight scouts. We grew to a size of roughly fifteen when the local Weblos passed over.
The number scouts has fluctuated since we started. Four of our current scouts have been with the troop since the beginning. We have changed adult leaders more often than we'd like but we are standing tall and making progress towards goals and ranks more frequently now.
Our current Scoutmaster is Eagle Scout Matt Drechsel. With the aid of Mr. Drechsel our troop has reached goals which almost seemed impossible before. Though over time we have lost numerous scouts we are holding strong with seven scouts at the moment.
We would like to thank everyone whom has supported, assisted, and/or helped us get out name in the public eye. Your help has not gone unnoticed.
