Born in Stratford was Shakespeare.  
He was a poet.  
His work bliss to any ear.  
The test of time will show it. 
 
They called him the Bard,  
A fitting name.  
His words a song never marred.  
He was always on his game.  
 
For us it seems  
That his life was too short.  
But his star still gleams  
In the heaven s royal court.  
 
Remember his work well  
And be caught in his spell.
