ANGELFIRE 12-06-10 Julian Assange has become another bad name in the news lately. Some have called him an international gangster. But the contraband at his disposal is only information. Seems that his website is loaded with secrets of different nations that he has leaked to the media. And some of them are indeed harmful for securty, especially to U.S. Though he came here from Australia (down under), he had to flee to Sweden to escape arrest and then Switzerland, but has now been in London to receive an honor from queen Elizabeth II. ANGELFIRE hopes it's not to become a knight, though such a title would really ramp up the stirr he's caused the nations. As a Sir Assange he'd be even more trouble. Now he's under arrest and to be tried in London. But seeing these final days, it seems that servants of Satan get more attention and admiration than ever. Our own secret service says he's a real danger and one official has labeled him an international terrorist;while some things he claims to have exposed of American military deception/trickery/fakery may just be made up lies. So that name Assange will be in the news even more I predict. What a flood of information flows out all over the world from Internet pages, some of it quite confidential. It seems that everyone who gains recognition today turns around to write their own book and sell it, just as former president GW Bush is now doing. They rake in the bucks and make themselves look better at the same time. In Bible lore, even the devil did that after his rebellion in heaven (as archangel Lucifer). That name means "shining one," which he surely considered himself to be. So he tried to steal God's throne by getting other angels to worship him instead. In Revelation we read how he and all the ones who followed him fell out of heaven down to earth. Thus those holy angels heard and seen in the sky that night when Christ was born were on guard for Mary and her Baby against demonic powers, as well as singing to ward off evil which was lurking in this world even then. And today it has become even more sly, deceptive, cunning, clever and brazen than it was in those ages past (qualities in the guy from Australia? Even though "sang" is in the very middle of his name). Jesus warned us of false prophets in the final days before his glorious return. They will be singing their deceptions. Could As-sang-e be one? Come Lord Jesus.

ANGELFIRE 12-08-10 Wikileaks is the web name of that place on the Internet where all that deceptive information is getting posted. Though it's only a war of words thus far, there is a betrayal of confidence that can undermine our stand against global terrorism, as ANGELFIRE sees it. Secret information is essential in virtural war just as in ordinary warfare; though it does allow for corrupted interpretation. And that's how those opposed to legitimate government are trying to undermine such authority. They must consider suicide bombers their ultimate heroes. And that's anarchy as I read it. Now as the world gets ready to celebrate the birth of the Prince of shalom that happened at Bethlehem so long ago, we don't like to see all the confusion and disorder that wickileaks can cause. I've not even punched up that website because it seem like global gossip on the Internet. Why should anyone want to hear it? Even Mary and Joseph showed respect for law and order as they journeyed to Bethlehem to be enrolled in the Roman census. And the name of their newborn must have been added too, JESUS. He lived a perfect life under such a temporal authority and was finally crucified by Roman soldiers. But he arose then to conquer their empire by heavenly power. And his birth is a time to remember that he will return very soon to bring the new heaven and earth of righteousness and peace (shalom). We use the Latin word advent to describe this time waiting before until his birth, but the Greek word parousia for his final appearing. And both words mean the same "coming." So Christmas is his birthday and the purpose for which he was born, to reclaim the soul of humanity from satanic dominion. "For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved." He will fianlly arrive as King of kings and Lord of lords at his "glorious appearing" one of these days soon. Rather than with meekness and in a stable it will be in majesty and almighty power of divine love (agape).. Hallelujah!!
LORD'sDay 12-12-10 I'll share a title given to me during this year. It's WWW which stands for world wide watcher. Of course it's most well known as world-wide-web, so if ever used will have to be extended to W-W-Watcher to convey a separate designation. Put that together with AoP and see WWWatcher J.A.Hazlitt AoP. The latter is "Apostle of Parousia", as given me in IYA2009. Now this is just kidding, so help me keep it secret as read only here. I've seen so much about Internet secret web sites of late, especially the Wikileaks that have provoked all the international furor. So ANGELFIRE sure doesn't aspire joining that. Instead we reach out to Bible believers. And I just read again from the professional astronomier's page of Satterfield. He was talking about that Star of Bethlehem that comes to my mind even before the season of Epiphany. This year we have a little flashlight that emits the new kids of light seen on our highways acorss Americas. It's calle LED which means luminous electromagnetic Diode. Instead of the flaments that electric lights have had since Thomas Edisdon discovered them, these use plasma instead. Whereas filaments emitted heat, these are cold so that they use very little electriity and the batteries last and last. When cars first started using them around 2000, I thought they'd become universal long before now. But at my last count on the Interstate, only about one in every 25 were LEDs. So they are just a sign of more yet to come. And it's the light from creation, not the kind made by man. Plasma emits this LED light. I take it with divine meaning, since Scripture says in several places that GOD is light. In fact that was once an issue of great prominence in the
Church. The east took it literally while the west only allowed symbolic meaning by answering that He created light, and that would not be himself. So the east said that there are two kinds, uncreated being first. Then God created natural light. So that's a basic cleveage between oriental and occidental ways of viewing natural science. The monastic movement began in the east, and its's goal was for men to see that Uncreated Light. In the wes that became an expression for spirituality, "seeing the light," but not meaning literal light. Thus the Christmas Star lapsed into a vague image. But some are finding new credance it in now days, even scientific evidence that it was real. I like that.
ANGELFIRE 12-13-10 We heard already that Bernie Madoff's son has committed suicide and now there's a headline that Bernie may not be allowed at the funeral. Of course we know he's in prison as the nation's biggest swindler. So the son who had hated him enough to kill himself would surely not want him coming to the funeral. Or that's what the headline implies. Sure gives a picture of Satan's devastation of families doesn't it. This glorious season of love, joy and peace is the devil's opportunity to play his tricks. And he especially wants family life to be in chaos, the which is taking it's toll in America where the divorce rate is so high. We've even seen polls that show a majority think that marriage is obsolete. Thus the unwed couples keeps increasing. But there are also so many more children who don't know who is their father. That's because some single moms are having babies from various boy friends. But the Nativity story still holds up a standard of love and devotion shown between Mary and Joseph. And the Baby born there in Bethlehem grew up to be a one and only sinless human being. The world considered Joseph his father, but the Church knows it was otherwise. Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary in a supernatural union. God the Father had directed Joseph to be her espoused guardian. Thus they had more children that were fathered by Joseph "the carpenter of Nazareth." That title shows that he worked to provide for them also.
One of the sources of danger today is so much big money that can be available for international terrorists to travel and stay in various countries to do satanic errands i.e. the current explosion in Sweden. Fortunately the bomber was killed when a bomb he was carrying went off. ANGELFIRE see that as providential as well as ironic. It was a Swedish chemist who first invented a modern explosive. Thus dynamite caused that little nation to the lead in a quest for world peace in early 20th C events. Now it faces the threat of global terrorism from one born in Pakistan, became a citizen of Sweden, and went to an International university in Britain. But his satanic mission failed, though it has exposed more worldly wickedness. Remember how the king in Jerusalem, Herod, sought to murder the new born Child at Bethlehem. But Satan was foiled again when the holy family fled to Egypt. It was a royal birth that night of all nights when God (who) so loved the world gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jn.3:16

ANGELFIRE 12-16-10 I recall a story several years ago about "The Mouse That Roared." Never got to read it, but the title is a like our experience here at the Pinkhouse. We have over a dozen cats as pets but only one indoor Cheshire. She's grown into quite a large animal and acts like this is her place more than ours. But from the outdoor ones there's come a contender for her place and it was at first so small that Niece name it Mouse. Now Mouse has amazed us with her a goodness. She seems to have an attitude around the others, but she doesn't have any tail. So that makes her quite different. Where none of the others will let us pick them up, she does. And she's ready to go walking with us. We have folks in WW that walk with their dogs, but cats? I've not seen any.. And I don't mean on a leash, as most of the dogs are. Mouse just goes along or behind us in the evenings. She's a peaceful little creature, so I like to hold and pet her indoors. And she truly loves Niece. The two have sort of a bond between them. Mouse is still the smallest cat we have here and is just a greyish color plus big appetite. And she hasn't shaken our world (like the one in that tale mentioned), rather she's steadied ours I would say. Which reminds me, she has no tail. Now that's a very different kind of cat. Our book title (if we wrote one) could be "The Cat With No Tail, (but lots of love)." Now that sounds like this season of divine agape doesn't it. Since giving is the expression of love, you might consider this euphemism, that her's is the tale of the Baby born in that manger long ago in Bethlehem. He is agape incarnate in the divine Person, Christ Jesus our LORD. One title is Prince of Peace. And the Bible word for that is Shalom. So that's why ANGELFIRE hopes that greeting which is used in Israel even today will spread to other places, like PV It's the word Jesus spoke to the apostles when he appeared to them after his resurrection, and the blessing he will bring for all his Church when he comes back again. And it sounds like our Okie "so long" but can also mean "howdy" when he appears. Shalom

ANGELFIRE 12-20-10 The UK is on alert for a dozen male suspects plotting a terrorist Christmas attack. Isn't that a noxious manner of designating the birthday of our Prince of Peace. Yet it's Satan's prize target and has been ever since the holy night in Bethelhem that now has global celebrations. Of course we know that the devil uses seduction more than confrontation. And that has worked to almost erase the Nativity out of Christmas. But in this 9th year of a global terrorism conflict, the UK's threat calls us to keep alert of the ancient Adversary. He sought the downfall of our Lord Jesus throughout those 33 years of earthly sojourn and even tempted him to turn from the divine mission for which he was sent. One theory of the atonement held very early among Christians has been recapitulation. The theory held up the perfect (sinless) life of Jesus as much as his death on the cross. At each juncture, where Adam had been duped by the devil, the second Adam Jesus overcame those lies with agape. Satan got no victories at any turn of events, though he tried throughout the full 33 years. So the new life we gain from the Savior empowers us to live sin free during earthly life by trusting Christ in each decision. Thus the perfect life offered on the cross is replicated in each of us here and now to overcome Satan.. So the gift of new life is for the present as well as when Jesus returns in glory and majesty. for his Church. Warfare against the devil is inward and basic, yet is currently seen in the world events unfolding since 9/eleven on the global stage. As we remember his birth, let us also claim his life within us. We face that same sly, wicked, cunning and deceptive enemy. But we have the Lord's exemplry life lived for us in that perfect and sinless career. The C.L.J. of Rev.22:17 also pertains within each of us personally as we continue waiting. Sing it from Isa.40. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up on wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint. Teach us Lord, teach us Lord how to wait." And from Ps. "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusts in Thee." Perfect in Hebrew is expressed by saying if twice i.e. "Thou wilt keep him in shalom, shalom whose mind in stayed on Thee;" also this "Love was when God became a man dressed in time and space, withour rank or place. Love was when Jesus walked in history. Patiently he won you and me. Love was when Christ was born to die! On that cross was lifted high, for poor lost sinners, you and I." ANGELFIRE 12-29-10 Remember when Tiger Woods was the name that dominated golf. Then we thought he was a respectable figure in that spot, one for our young to emulate. But when all the cheating on his wife became publicly known it was a downfall. Feelings swung in the opposite direction and his name was nearly erased from the journals. Yet he did make a come back after an apology to fans. It seems ironic now to ANGELFIRE that someone named Tiger (a dangerous and fearsome animal) could manifest such remorse. But Tiger did and is back on the course again. So that's how I see a new year. It's a new start, with repentance for our defaults and failures of 2010. We can go into 2011 renewed by divine forgiveness if we seek it. Of course the damage done by such a famous career will not be healed. Spouse cheating has became epidemic in western civilization. And there's even a media star now, Joy Beyhar, that is expresses opposition to all marriage. I don't listen to her, but it must even include gay unions. What a time this is in earth's society. Standards and boundaries are all being trampled down by the lust and greed of sinful mankind. No wonder we see colossal new calamities each day. We are nearing the end and all the bells keep ringing as whistles blow to warn us to be prepared. The Lord will return any day and we must be ready. So let New Years Day be your drawing closer to Christ Jesus as Savior and Lord. It may be the final opportunity to get right with God. Don't listen to the false teachers of worldly deception. But read your Bible faithfully and go to hear the Gospel at church. There's always more to learn that deepens and strengthens faith.

LORD'sDAY Actually, it's really New Year's Eve, so I write to affirm that every 365 of them will be the Lord's Days. And here are some thoughts about my own two hands now typing this. Sure don't want to ever loose either one, though I rely on the right more than left. Sometimes they seem like twins that both want affirmation. I think of them as my Nitty and Gritty. We usuall say right an left, which is reverse to N & G. But it's probably because most folks are right handed, which gives it priority. Nitty makes me think of my mother Blanche, a south paw. While Gritty is like holding a pair plyres on something. Getting the papers out each day becomes stressful on the right one (Gritty). So today I had promised him to let Nitty do the banding instead. It was slower going, but Gritty isn't as cramped up as usual. In fact, I plan to keep sharing the load more equally. Yesterday after the route I held them out for inspection, and poor stressed Gritty looked so defeated, while Nitty was just laid back as usual. I thank the Lord that both are still working as my faithful twins. Do I sound a little dreamy? Yes I guess so. But in my advanced years I've begun to feel that various parts of this body have their own pesonality. Thus we must be captain of the team trying to keep them in harmony, not competition i.e. heart and lungs, left and right feet, left and right ears or eyes, arms and legs, head and shoulders, etc. This is the symmetry in our Creator's handiwork and we must keep it balanced. Another pair is gut and gumption. That's where America's obesity get's out oc control. The head gets ruled by the belly appetite, and symmetry is out the window. I learned symmetry from study of the Big Bank theory in IYA2009, and see in it the Creator's use of balance. These are not from ANGELFIRE, but my own natural opinion. Shalom JosephA@webtv.net
ANGELFIRE 1-04-11 It was new year's eve in the state next door to us when that strange sign was seen of falling blackbirds, thousands of them from just the tree top level there at BeeBe, Ark. Can you imagine finding injured and bleeding little redwing blackbirds all over the ground where you live? They had been injured or killed by some sort of explosive impact that's still a mystery to the citizens of Arkansas. As we used to say "something spookie about it." (one of my favorite songs used to be ON THE WINGS OF A DOVE) The state's wild life and game commission is offering several theories, though that town must sure feel jinxed. Add to that the hundreds of dead fish found less than a hundred miles west in their Ark. River, and the whole state gets a similar shock. ANGELFIRE recalls decades ago when that state endured ridicule as being hicks and hill billies living way behind the times back then. Then it got Bill Clinton in the white house and prosperity began to abound over there, We Okies had shaken off the derogatory impact of our ow label, especially in football, and they began coming to the forefront without that Arkie designation. Now it's mutual respect between us, praise the Lord. So this sign from "the birds and the bees or seas" does cause ANGELFIRE to wonder. It recalls the aberations of nature recorded in the Old Testament, as the Israelites were on that 40 year treck from slavery in Egypt back to the Promised Land led by Moses. Now there's a guy named Mike Huckabee over there who comes to mind. As most of you will recall, he's a former preacher, then governor; now become a TV talk show celebrity. Could these be signs to set the way for him in 201l toward a run for the White House? And I'm sure he cares about protection of wild life too. I don't watch his show but do respect him as a gifted and able leader and fellow Christian. So let's watch to see if his hat doesn't soon go up in the air, instead of coming down like those birds and fish. Or is this just some fishie speculation out of my own head? ANGELFIRE 1-12-11 We've seen the flooding in Australia that has taken many lives, but the one in Brazil has an even higher death toll. And then there's the real estate market using that expression "underwater" on property that has more debt on it than cash value. It gets me confused at times if the news is telling us of meterology or economics. Both share a large degree of uncertainty in predictions made. So whenever the market recovers and things seem sunny, better prepare for storm and lightning. We have started a new year feeling some relief from the recession. But things could still go south (as I previously mentioned about down under). As one that loves to make up rhymes, I've got one for AZ to match that nickname mentioned for Australia: it's "gone yonder/" My oldest brother and youngest son both live out there, so lots of ANGELFIRE concern has gone yonder. The last email from my namesake son in Phoenix said he was still glad to live there. He called it last of the wild west. Also said that he had worked for Gabrielle(name of last trump angel) about ten years ago in Tucson and liked her back then., We neither said a word about the shooter. Have a feeling he'll get the penalty he deserves, wild west treatment. To see the guy first with long hair in his former photos and then bald headed now, sure makes the spit in his personality apparent. His Satan side seems to have previously gained control as shown by his earlier misconduct , which should have kept him completely disarmed. A gun is the last thing such a maniac needs. (especially one with an extra shell magazine). ANGELFIRE doesn't question the right of citizens to own them. But that second amendment was written about muskets, an awkward weapon that modern hand guns have left light years behind. The musket was carried in a shoulder sling which had to be taken off to load the weapon. It was poured from a powder horn into the barrel, then packed down inside the musket so metal or solid balls could be laid on top. But they fired them in a volley (i.e. volley ball which was an arch instead of straight line shot), maybe like a softball underhand pitch. Such were the fire arms allowed in our Constitution. Who could have guessed in the 18th century that they'd be replaced by our deadly and very small, inconspicuous tools for killing. Of course hand guns are needful for officers of the law and other enforcement professionals. (Yet not the British Bobbies who have only carried their night sticks/clubs)). Thus, how much more needful the screening of lay persons who want to carry concealed weapons. Guns can be used for good or evil, though the devil has a way of gaining a surplus for his secret wicked designs-- always hidden, devious and destructive.. That makes tiny guns more immediate, sudden, and thus volatile than even huge nuclear missiles; though Satan tries to keep both kinds in the darkness that he rules. LORD'sDAY is tomorrow, so it's Sat. morning now and right in the middle of the first month of this new year. ANGELFIRE has read more on Dr.Brent Landau's book Revelation of the Magai, a tale of the wise men following that star of Bethlehem. One critic was an Arabic native who claimed all the names for Kings that Landau had quoted were familiar in Arabic history. So that idea of them coming from fway off China was too far out. Sill, it hits this contemporary world where China is nearly the top player--especially economicaly. And no one has argue about those Majai being very wealthy. But another animal was suggested as used for their travel. It was a creature common in ancient Turkey, but strange to me. So if scholarship vindicates that lost docuent found from the 8th century in the Vatican library, we may have a valid sign of the end of days from their ancient journey; and i may yet get to read Landau's book.
It was a week ago today that a little nine year old Christina Green was shot dead with five others in AZ as many more were wounded. She's been a sign of hope from 9/11 day, on which she was born. And her parents felt she might yet see Gabrielle as her role model. They were sure of where she's gone, so her Dad spoke aloud to her at the funeral held Thursday. Her parents were examples of faith overcoming grief, which seemed a model for us all in the aweful struggle against terrorism thrust upon America at 9/11. Seems I heard that Tucson will build a memorial to her for that reason. What an impact from a little girl upon the whole world, likely greater than a full lifetime. "God moves in a mysterious way his wonders to perform. He plants his footsteps in the sea and rides upon the storm."

ANGELFIRE 1-17-11 All America suffered a shock from out in AZ last week where that crazed gunman killed six in front of a Safeway store. That name sure didn't fit for 17 injured nor half a dozen killed. Maybe it could apply somehow to Rep. Gabrielle, whose first name matches the archangel Gabriel. He is usually associated with sounding the trumpet of the Last Day and our Lord's return. I think of the Jewish musician, George Cohen's song, "There's going to be a great Day. Gabriel will warn you, some early morn you will hear his horn. So turn from your sins and pray, lift up your hands and say "There's going to be a great Day." Angel signs are appearing in our daily news now to those with eyes to see. One tiny one to me is the number eleven for this year. It reminds me of the two rails of a train track. So the hint is "better get back on track." Or maybe out of the way as a honking of an approaching train engine is a warning like the Trumpet that Gabriel is sounding to the world to clear the way as the King is coming. Gender is no longer binding in the angelic realm it appears. They were mascuine in Bible times but become feminine church tradition. We Oklahomans have now gained our first female governor, and see more and more women leaders nationally, as well as locally. So ANGELFIRE has no qualms about linking the recovering Representative in Tucson with that arkangel whose name is Gabriel. Her recovery is a joyful sign of life over death which the return of our Lord Jesus will bring to all his followers. But we must be ready with hearts "back on track" when he appears in glory and majesty. He'll take his church out of this corrupt, wicked & perishing world, into his bosom. C.L.J.

ANGELFIRE 1-20-11 When I first learned that president Hu of Communist China would be Obama's guest at the state dinner at our Capitol I was reminded of a novel from way back, "Guess Who is Coming to Dinner." I never read it though the title caused me to wonder about the Last Supper when there was an evil Judas participating. But this time the "Who was HU and it seemed a resonant expression for "getting to know whose-who." The sound of the word who makes me think of Halloween, though such are from hoot owls instead. Yet they evoke thoughts of evil spirits. So we are left with an uneasy feeling about Hu Jintao's royal visit. His smile or frown conveys the power of billions and billions of Yen(dollars). And we've always got such a yen(feeling) for getting more of them that it's hard to recall all the brain washing and torture the Communists used gaining their control in China. Just because Hu comes now with his great dignity and esteem in tux+bowtie attire, can we afford to forget? Or to forgive?? ANGELFIRE thinks how Harry Reid's been criticised for calling him a dictator. Was that just a slip of the tongue? The book of James in our Bible tells us how hard it is to rule our tongues. But sometimes truth can't be overruled. It just gets blurted out. So hooray for Harry, as our big money moguls seek to plaster over ugly realities of the past for the sake of more loans. Let's see if they will also rally round the balanced budget Amendment to our Constitution,
which is now separating the men from the boys. The latter always want to change the subject (and keep on adding to our national debt). A dictatorship in disguise may be ahead for us as it has come to China. Scripture tells of the Antichrist who will fool all earth's people in gaining evil control. Then things will grow terrible until finally everyone alive will behold the Lord Jesus returning to claim his own(even those in the grave who died in the faith, who are resurrected forever). Thus we see these signs and should be prepared. Let's "seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness...and all these other needs will be provided." SoLong/Shalom JAH AoP
