Not content with offering three billion unsolicited credit cards last year, the c-c industry now wants fewer legislative barriers to its irresponsible lending practices or to irresponsible borrowing practices by its customers.

The c-c mafia wants to continue collecting interest at annual rates sometimes exceeding 26 per cent from customers who can pay off only a fraction of their balances each month.

America now is one big company store owned by c-c companies and managed by their Republican capos.

Dubya's proposed 2001 tax cut of $180 for singles and $360 for couples won't buy many groceries, let alone pay off credit cards. (18 MARCH 2001)
