Like other bullies, pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline deserves a punch in the nose.

Headquartered in the United Kingdom with manufacturing sites in 39 countries including the United States, Glaxo is beating up on a million American seniors filling affordable prescriptions by mail order from Canada.

Glaxo is cutting off supplies for government-regulated pharmacies using the Internet to sell its life-saving drugs at prices considerably less than standard in America.

Glaxo says it is acting “in the interests of patient safety,” even though the exported drugs are the same quality and—like American mail-order drugs—are handled by the U.S. Postal Service.

Americans should boycott Glaxo’s consumer healthcare items such as AquaFresh, Beano, Chap-Et, Contact, Citrucel, Ecotrin, Gaviscon, Geritol, Massengill, Nicoderm, Nicorette, Nytol, Polident, Sensodyne, Sominex, Polygrip, Tagamet, Tegrin and Tums.
