Multinational and national corporations sleeping with the Dubya Administration and Congressional leaders earnestly want to return the United States to just two economic classes—high and low.
The latest round of federal tax cuts—and the recent Medicare prescription plan—don’t benefit middle-income Americans, much less the poor among us.
And Corporate America continues to import foreign workers because of an alleged scarcity of trained or willing American workers.
When the political chickens come home to roost next November, un-- and underemployment hopefully will determine the election results. (28 DECEMBER 2003)
