Enough is enough, already.

First states and municipalities issue permits allowing residents to keep exotic (read: dangerous) animals on private property (read: houses and apartments).

Now there’s a group of harebrained ecologists who—according to a recent article in the scientific journal Nature--want to relocate endangered large mammals (read: lions, tigers, rhinos, elephants) from Africa to vast private parks and reserves in North America.

Supporters of the neo-Jurassic proposal say it would begin to restore the environmental biodiversity that existed 10,000 years ago in the United States.
