Taser International, supplier of electrified weapons to law-enforcement and security agencies, is marketing a $300 civilian version that fires electrified paralysis darts from black, silver, blue or pink grips.
The C2 has a 15-foot range and reportedly can discombobulate a predator for about 30 seconds, long enough for the shooter to skedaddle safely.
Wait a minute. Many state laws and municipal ordinances already prohibit the carrying and use of mace, pepper spray, nun chucks, brass knuckles, saps, lead-lined batons and other “non-lethal” self-defense gizmos.
