Why are America’s great unwashed so enamored with skanky hotel heiress Paris Hilton?
The same reason they’re gaga about Hilton’s mannequin look-alike, Barbie.
Both are vain and vacuous. Both are caricatures of fantasy looks and lifestyles admired by gullible females of all ages.
Existence for both Paris and Barbie revolves around fashion, bling and other shallow indulgences.
Neither has thoughts of her own. They do what others expect them to do: strut, party and ignore stupid rules.
Hey, when Paris serves her sentence in the slammer for breaking the law, parents ought to confine their daughters’ Barbies for the same amount of time.
