Whoa. Perhaps this is why honeybees are disappearing:
They may be part of a secret military effort to disrupt enemy discipline and morale.
Granted, the most outlandish proposed weapon was the “gay bomb”--one of hundreds of unsuccessful ideas for $7.5 million in non-lethal chemical research by the U.S. Air Force Wright Laboratories in 1994.
Other dubious research proposals involved chemicals to cause bad breath, flatulence and sunburn and provoke wasps and rats to attack enemy combatants.
But wait. Another proposal involved spraying enemy troops with bee pheromones and then hiding numerous hives in the combat area.
Wow. Perhaps large numbers of honeybees got sprayed with the “gay” ingredients, quit reproducing and developed a homosexual agenda that favored fertilizing only the world’s pansies.
